KART Nr. 116 ist da! Ich freue mich sehr, dabei zu sein.
KART ist eine Sofortkunstsammlung in einer Box!
„Das KART-Magazin ist eine Sammelpublikation zur Förderung der künstlerischen und kulturellen Vielfalt. KART ist ein fortlaufendes Projekt ohne Fristen und die Arbeit wird auf Dauer angenommen. KART wird in limitierten Auflagen von 40 Stück produziert, wobei jede Box Werke von 17 Künstlern enthält. Ich zeige hier exemplarisch einige Beiträge.

Rezepthefte

Letzte Woche traf ich eine gute Freundin und wir hatten einen schönen Nachmittag zusammen. Als ich gerade gehen wollte, sagte sie, sie hätte vielleicht etwas für mich – und packte diese Schätze aus – einen nach dem anderen, wobei sie sich entschuldigte, dass die Alben so verrottet seien. Schau Dir diese wunderbaren viktorianischen Fotoalben und Kabinettkarten an, und auf einem kleinen Kalender, der sich darin befand, steht, von wann die Alben sind: 1883. Ich kann mein Glück nicht fassen.
Und eine andere gute Freundin schenke mir alte Rezepthefte – damit werde ich eine Zusammenarbeit mit Stefan Heuer starten.
Besten Dank ihr Lieben! Ihr habt mir eine große Freude gemacht!

Last week I met a good friend and we had a lovely afternoon together. As I was about to leave, she said she might have something for me – and unpacked these treasures – one by one, apologizing that the albums were so rotten. Look at these wonderful Victorian photo albums and cabinet cards, and a little calendar that was inside says when the albums are from: 1883. I can’t believe my luck.
And another good friend is giving me old recipe booklets – I’m going to use them to start a collaboration with Stefan Heuer.
Thank you very much, dear ones! You have made me a great joy!

Das ist mein Beitrag zu Circulaire 132 – ein Sammelmagazin organisiert von RF Côté (Kanada). Hierfür habe ich meinen selbst gestalteten Hans Arp Stempel sowie alte Briefmarken genutzt. Ich bin gespannt auf die Beiträge der anderen Teilnehmenden.

This is my contribution to Circulaire 132 – a collective magazine organized by RF Côté (Canada). For this I used my self-designed Hans Arp stamp as well as old stamps. I am looking forward to the contributions of the other participants.

Starter für eine Kollaboration

Ein Bauknecht Heft von 1959 (A5) mit dem Titel „Kühle Tips für heiße Tage“, dass ich kürzlich von Maria Gilges geschenkt bekommen habe, habe ich nun als Starter für eine neue Kollaboration mit Stefan Heuer gestaltet. Hierfür habe ich auch einige Bildelemente von „Collage_This : Issue 01“ von Contemporary Collage Magazine genutzt. Stefan und ich haben bereits zwei solcher Hefte zusammen geklebt – davon hat Stefan Magazine drucken lassen. Mal sehen, wie dieses hier nun wird.

A Bauknecht booklet from 1959 (A5) with the title „Cool tips for hot days“ that I recently received as a gift from Maria Gilges, I have now designed as a starter for a new collaboration with Stefan Heuer. For this I also used some image elements from „Collage_This : Issue 01“ of Contemporary Collage Magazine. Stefan and I have already glued two such booklets together – of which Stefan has had magazines printed. Let’s see how this one will turn out.

Ich freue mich sehr dabei zu sein: „Sketchbooks of the World – Volume 1“, herausgegeben von der Brooklyn Art Library, zeigt 100 inspirierende Skizzenbuchseiten von 100 Künstlern aus ihrer Sammlung, die auf der ganzen Welt leben.
Vielen Dank!
Die Skizzenbuchseiten umfassen Jahre, Bände, Themen und verschiedene Medien. Jeder Künstler hat eine handschriftliche Notiz über sein Skizzenbuch und eine Künstlerbiografie beigesteuert, damit man ihn besser kennen lernen kann. Die Brooklyn Art Library hofft, dass dieses Buch zu kreativen Arbeiten inspiriert, während man ein wenig tiefer in ihre Sammlung von Tausenden von Skizzenbüchern eintaucht!

Sehr sehenswert ist die bis zum 6.3.2022 verlängerte Ausstellung „Produktive Bildstörung – Sigmar Polke und aktuelle künstlerische Positionen“ in der Kunsthalle Düsseldorf.

Geburtstag von Sigmar Polke realisiert die Anna Polke-Stiftung gemeinsam mit der Kunsthalle Düsseldorf ein Ausstellungsprojekt, das unter dem Thema Produktive Bildstörung Werke von Sigmar Polke aktuellen künstlerischen Positionen gegenüberstellt. […] Beteiligte Künstler*innen: Kerstin Brätsch, Phoebe Collings-James, Raphael Hefti, Camille Henrot, Trevor Paglen, Sigmar Polke, Seth Price, Max Schulze, Avery Singer.
