Ray Johnson Mail Art Call

Ray Johnson, Pionier der Mail Art und Gründer der New York Correspondance School, ist dieser Mail Art Call gewidmet, der mit einer Ausstellung in der MKP Jezerka Library and Studio abschließt.  Zwei meiner Zines, die ich via Mail Art über die Welt verteilt, sowie eine  Originalarbeit, die ich in einer Auflage von acht Stück zum Zwecke der Mail Art kreiert habe, werden dabei sein.
Ein großartiges Project, initiiert von  Simona Michalková.

This Mail Art Call is dedicated to Ray Johnson, a pioneer of Mail Art and founder of the New York Correspondence School, and will culminate in an exhibition at the MKP Jezerka Library and Studio. Two of my zines, which I have distributed around the world via Mail Art, as well as an original work that I created in an edition of eight specifically for Mail Art, will be on display.
A wonderful project, initiated by Simona Michalková.

Ich freue mich sehr, bei der Ausstellung „Collage – aktuelle europäische Positionen“ in der Neuen Sächsischen Gallerie, Chemnitz, mit Arbeiten vertreten zu sein. Herzlichen Dank an Mathias Lindner und Jan Brokof, Kuratoren der Ausstellung.

My contribution to the ‘Sisyphos’ mail art call organised by the Sisyphos Society (Berlin, Germany), which included an exhibition held in February 2026 and a publication featuring all 274 entries from 192 participants across 36 countries and 4 continents – I have been in contact with and/or collaborating with some of them for many years.

Art In A Box – Exhibition (2)

Ich freue mich sehr, bei der Ausstellung „ART IN A BOX – A Polyphonic Artistic Dialogue“ in Rhodos (GRC), kuratiert von Georgia Grigoriadou, dabei zu sein. Ausgestellt werden 13 thematische Sammelmagazine mit 160 Werken von 70 Künstlern aus 16 Ländern sowie Drucke und Installationen der Kuratorin und bildenden Künstlerin Georgia Grigoriadou, die auch die Organisatorin des Sammelmagazins „Art In A Box“ ist.
Insgesamt habe ich fünf mal an dem Zine teilgenommen:
#7-2020 „Memory“ / #8-2021 „Time“ / #9-2021 „Isolation“ / #10-2022 „Femizid“ /
#13-2024/2025 „Aporophobia“ (klick um die Boxen mit den jeweiligen Beiträgen zu sehen.)
Vielen Dank an Georgia für diese Möglichkeit, an so einem wunderbaren Projekt teilnehmen zu dürfen!

I am very pleased to be part of the exhibition ART IN A BOX – A Polyphonic Artistic Dialogue“ in Rhodes (GRC), curated by Georgia Grigoriadou. On display are 13 thematic collective magazines with 160 works by 70 artists from 16 countries as well as prints and installations by the curator and visual artist Georgia Grigoriadou, who is also the organizer of the collective magazine “Art In A Box”.
