Das ist mein Beitrag zu Maya Lopez Aufruf „NEIN ZU GEWALT – Poetische Wand“ im Rahmen des Internationalen Tages der Gewaltlosigkeit gegen Frauen am 25. November.
Die eingereichten Arbeiten werden vom 25. bis 27. November auf der poetischen Wand vor dem Atelier Il Graffiacielo Art ausgestellt – Via Lucheria N ° 80 – San Giovanni Valdarno – Arezzo – Italien

Es ist vollbracht!

Das zweite Buch der Ungleichen Zwillinge mit Linda Sandoval ist fertig und somit das Zwillingspaar vollständig.
In einem vorherigen Artikel habe ich den ersten Zwilling gezeigt, von mir gestartet und von Linda beendet. Hier nun das Buch, das Linda gestartet und ich fertiggestellt habe (Video und Fotos weiter unten). Vielen Dank für´s Mitmachen!
Ausgangsmaterial: Insel Bücherei Nr. 351 – Das Kleine Buch der Tropenwunder

Dieses Buch ist Teil eines fortlaufenden Kollaborationsprojektes namens „Die ungleichen Zwillinge“, welches ich im Jahr 2018 initiiert habe.
Zwei gleiche Bücher aus der Insel Bücherei dienen als Grundlage.
Diese werden von mir zusammengestellt und an den jeweiligen Kollaborationspartner verschickt. Beide gestalten eins der beiden Bücher als Starter, beide beenden das jeweils andere, so dass am Ende zwei Originale Bücher entstanden sind. Jeder erhält sein gestartetes Buch zurück.

This book is part of an ongoing project by me called „The Unequal Twins“, started 2018. Two identical books from the Insel Bücherei (Island Library), saved from the waste paper container, serve as a basis and will be sent by me, Sabine Remy, to the respective collaboration partner. Both design one of the two books as a starter, both finish the other, so that at the end two original books are created. Everyone gets his started book back.

Ich freue mich sehr, zum ersten mal bei dem Sammelmagazin COLLAGE, organisiert von Alfonso Aguado Ortuno (Spanien), dabei zu sein.

Postcard Call Anna Klos (PL)

Für den Postkarten-Aufruf von Anna Klos – Retroavangarda Galerie – Warschau, Polen – habe ich zwei meiner Nymphen verwendet, die ich Anfang des Jahres kreiert habe. Die Originalgröße beträgt 50×70 cm. Damit ich sie als DinA5 Postkarten verwenden kann, habe ich das Repro auf 84 x 59,2 cm vergrößert.

Jeder Satz enthält 16 Postkarten sowie eine Übersichtskarte, auf der das gesamte Motiv und die jeweiligen Ausschnitte markiert sind – insgesamt also 34 Postkarten.

Für die Rückseite habe ich folgendes verwendet:
* Kopien von Liebesbriefe aus dem 1. Weltkrieg (Feldpost) von Johann an seine Verlobte Paula Rosenberg
* polnische Briefmarken
* meine selbst gestalteten Dada-Stempel: Hannah Höch, Kurt Schwitters, Hugo Ball, Dada rules the world
* meinen Signaturstempel.

Im Portfolio am Ende des Artikels sind die Übersichtspostkarten mit dem unzerschnittenen Originalmotiv zu sehen sowie eine exemplarische Rückseite.

For the postcard call of Anna Klos – Retroavangarda Gallery – Warsaw, Poland – I used two of my nymphs, which I created earlier this year. The original size is 50×70 cm. In order to use them as DinA5 postcards, I enlarged the repro to 84×59,2 cm.

Each set contains 16 postcards plus an overview card on which the entire motif and the respective cutouts are marked – a total of 34 postcards.

For the reverse side I used the following:
* copies of love letters from WW1 (field mail) from Johann to his fiancée Paula Rosenberg.
* Polish postage stamps
* my self-designed Dada stamps: Hannah Höch, Kurt Schwitters, Hugo Ball, Dada rules the world
* my signature stamp.

In the portfolio at the end of the article you can see the overview postcards with the uncut original motif as well as an exemplary reverse side.

No word from glue

What it all began with – Womit alles begann

Das ist mein Beitrag zum Aufruf „NO WORD FROM GLUE“ von ART IN PLACES in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Künstler SILVIO SEVERINO.

Worum es geht: „Der Autor Eduardo Mendoza wurde 1943 in Barcelona/Spanien geboren. […] Er gilt als einer der wichtigsten zeitgenössischen spanischen Romanciers und wurde mit zahlreichen internationalen Preisen ausgezeichnet [… und schrieb das Buch „Kein Wort von Gurb“. ..] Inhalt – Ein gestaltwandelnder Außerirdischer namens Gurb nimmt die Gestalt einer Madonna […]  an und verschwindet in den Seitenstraßen von Barcelona. Sein unglücklicher Kommandant, der in verschiedenen Momenten der Handlung ebenfalls die Gestalt wechselt […], versucht verzweifelt, ihn zu finden. Während der Suche hält er die täglichen Freuden, Gefahren und Absurditäten unserer zerbrechlichen Welt fest, während er sich durch Unmengen von Churros durchschlägt.“ (Quelle)

Ich habe mich dazu entschieden, die Ausgangssituation zu gestalten – Gurb fällt aus seinem Planeten heraus durch das All Richtung Erde und verwandelt sich während dessen in eine Frau.

Mal sehen, ob es klappt und ich eine von den 100 KünstlerInnen werde, die ausgesucht werden.

This is my contribution to the call „NO WORD FROM GLUE“ by ART IN PLACES in collaboration with artist SILVIO SEVERINO.

What it’s about: „The author Eduardo Mendoza was born in Barcelona/Spain in 1943. […] He is considered one of the most important contemporary Spanish novelists and has been awarded numerous international prizes [… and wrote the book „No Word of Gurb“. …] Contents – A shape-shifting alien named Gurb takes the form of a Madonna […] and disappears into the back streets of Barcelona. His unfortunate commander, who also changes shape at various moments in the plot […], desperately tries to find him. During the search, he records the daily joys, dangers, and absurdities of our fragile world as he makes his way through reams of churros.“ (Source)

I decided to create the initial situation – Gurb falls out of his planet through space towards Earth, and during this he transforms into a woman.

Let’s see if it works out and I become one of the 100 artists chosen.
