BERKELEY COMMONPLACE freut sich, in diesem Frühjahr (vom 3.-12. Mai) die erste Ausstellung des Postal Collage Project No. 13 im Berkeley Art Center (1275 Walnut Street, Berkeley, CA, USA)  zu veranstalten.** Die Ausstellung zeigt mehr als 200 gemeinschaftliche Collagen, die zwischen September 2023 und Frühjahr 2024 von über 200 Teilnehmern aus sechzehn Ländern erstellt wurden.

3. Mai – Preview Party Fundraiser, 17-20 Uhr

4.-12. Mai – täglich geöffnet, 11-17 Uhr
Collagiermöglichkeiten die ganze Woche

4. Mai – Workshop zur Buchherstellung
Ganztägig, alle Altersgruppen, kostenlos

11. Mai – Welt-Collagen-Tag
Ganztägig, für alle Altersgruppen, kostenlos. Es werden neue Arbeiten mit Inhalten erstellt, die von Mitgliedern der weltweiten Collage-Gemeinschaft zur Verfügung gestellt werden.

Mein Beitrag zur Einladung von MIAP – Christophe Blaise zur Teilnahme an der Mail Art Ausstellung zum Thema „Die Welt des Zirkus“ im Rahmen des Saint-Martin-Bazaar in der Zeit vom 3. – 23. August in Saint-Martin-en-Vercors, Frankreich.
Es gibt ein umfangreiches Rahmenprogramm, das hier zu sehen ist – leider nur auf Französisch.

Von Christophe Blaise bekam ich den Katalog zu der Mail Art Ausstellung „Hommage an Tintin -von Thierry Grenier“ in der Villa Monoyer, Lyon, Frankreich, an der ich mit einer Tim und Struppi Collage teilgenommen habe.
Außerdem sendete Christophe mir die Einladung zur nächsten Ausstellung mit dem Thema „Zirkus“.

Ich freue mich sehr, bei R_epertoire – X. International Spanish Flue Mail Art Biennale, Veres Attila – Hall of the Thalia House of the Herman Ottó Museum – Miskolc Gallery, HUN mit meiner Collage DADA THEATRE (A4) dabei zu sein. Besten Dank an Vas Tibor für die Einladung, daran teilzunehmen.
Die Ausstellung wird am Welt-Theater-Tag, 27.3.204, eröffnet und ist bis August 2024 zu sehen.
Einige mir bekannte Mail Art Kollegen sind auch dabei, wie z.B. Susanna Lakner, Lars Schumacher, Horst Tress, Ruggero Maggi, Serse Luigetti, Ryosuke Cohen, Keiichi Nakamura und Michelangelo Mayo (siehe unten)

Bibliothek der Zukunft – Ausstellungsdokumentation

Über die Ausstellungsdokumentation der Mail Art Ausstellung „Bibliothek der Zukunft“ (09-11/2023) des Kunstvereins Geislingen in der dortigen Stadtbücherei habe ich mich sehr gefreut. Besten Dank an den Kurator Peter Schubert!

90 KünstlerInnen aus 22 Ländern haben Arbeiten gesendet – meine ist unten zu sehen. Mit dabei auch einige, mit denen ich selber schon Mail Art ausgetauscht und/oder zusammengearbeitet habe oder schon in diversen Sammelmagazinen gemeinsam vertreten war, wie z.B. Michel Untzilla, Svenja Wahl aka Lottchen Echo, Horst Tress, Thorsten Fuhrmann, Christian Alle, Richard Baudet, Serse Luigetti, Keiichi Nakamura, Ryosoke Cohen, Rod Summers, Cristina Holm, Joey Patrickt, Michelangelo Mayo und viele andere.
.
Besonders erfreut bin ich, dass meine Arbeit, ebenso wie die Arbeiten von Honoria Starbuck, Jürgen O. Olbrich, Ko de Jonge, Riggero Maggi, Rod Summers, The Sticker Dude Joel Cohen und Tofu, in der Dokumentation explizit gezeigt werden.

Es gibt auch schon einen neuen Aufruf des Kunstvereins Eislingen für eine Ausstellung in 2025.

I was very pleased to receive the exhibition documentation of the mail art exhibition „Bibliothek der Zukunft“ (09-11/2023) of the Kunstverein Geislingen in the local public library. Many thanks to the curator Peter Schubert!

90 artists from 22 countries sent works – mine can be seen below. Among them are some with whom I have already exchanged mail art and/or worked together or with whom I have been represented in various assembling magazines, such as Michel Untzilla, Svenja Wahl aka Lottchen Echo, Horst Tress, Thorsten Fuhrmann, Christian Alle, Richard Baudet, Serse Luigetti, Keiichi Nakamura, Ryosoke Cohen, Rod Summers, Cristina Holm, Joey Patrickt, Michelangelo Mayo and many others.

I am particularly pleased that my work, as well as the work of Honoria Starbuck, Jürgen O. Olbrich, Ko de Jonge, Riggero Maggi, Rod Summers, The Sticker Dude Joel Cohen and Tofu, is explicitly shown in the documentary.

There is also already a new call from the Kunstverein Eislingen for an exhibition in 2025.

Die Werke werden während der Feierlichkeiten zum 46. internationalen Treffen der unabhängigen Verleger EDIT in Punta Umbria ausgestellt und werden Teil der Mail Art Collection des F.U.S. (Uberto Stabile Fund of the University of Huelva) (E).
Ich freu mich, dabei zu sein!

This is my contribution to the Mail Art Exhibition „Tribute to Pere Sousa“.
The work will be exhibited during the celebration of the 46th international meeting of independent publishers EDIT in Punta Umbria, and they will become part of the Mail Art Collection of the F.U.S. (Uberto Stabile Fund of the University of Huelva) (E).

Traumland / Dreamland

Original Collage „Lügen / Wahrheit“.
Mein Beitrag für den öffentlichen (und deswegen auch mit Anschrift) Mail Art Aufruf von Lutz Anders zum Thema „Traumland“, weil ich in vielen Lebensbereichen davon träume, dass die Wahrheit ans Licht kommt/ ausgesprochen wird.
Damit werde ich an der Ausstellung im Oktober diesen Jahres teilnehmen.
