Für Ptrzia TIC TAC und ihr ”Zine in a Box” Mail Art Projekt habe ich erneut 25 DinA5 große Originalarbeiten erstellt. Jeder Teilnehmer (inges. 25) erhält später eine Original-Editions-Box mit je einer Originalarbeit der anderen Teilnehmer. Ich freue mich schon jetzt darauf!

Once again I produced 25 original collages in A5 size for Ptrzia TIC TAC´s  “Zine in a Box” mail art project. Each participant (25 all in all) will receive an  original edition´s box including one original work per participant. I´m already looking forward to it.

Nachdem ich für TIC TAC Patrizias Zine in a book all die kleinen Dada-Mäulchen auf den Weg geschickt habe, war ich schon ein bisschen traurig. Deswegen habe ich meine eigene Kollektion mit neuen Bildern gemacht und alle in einem Buch zusammengefasst.

After I made my contribution for TIC TAC Patrizias Zine in a box I was a bit sad to let all those little Dada-mouths go. Therefore I made my own collection with other images and put them all together in one book.

Vor einer Weile habe ich eine alte anatomische Tafel im Internet gefunden. Nachdem sie mir zugeschickt wurde habe ich entschieden, daraus ein Triptychon zu machen – und die Reise began. Ich habe eine Menge Bilder zum Thema Leben, Tod, Maschinen gesammelt und ausgeschnitten – ich habe zwei neue Tafeln gemacht – ich habe den fehlenden Teil des Bauches für eine Tafel reproduziert – ich habe eine Menge Sprühkleber verbraucht und einige Meter Gewebeband für die „Rahmung“ – und zu guter Letzt habe ich die Tafeln fertiggestellt. Eine so große Arbeit habe ich noch nie gemacht – und ich weiß auch nicht, ob ich das noch einmal machen werde – aber wir werden sehen.
Hier sieht man das Original – und hier einige Arbeitsschritte.

A while ago I found a vintage anatomical panel in the internet. After receiving it I decided to create a triptych – and the journey begun. I collected and cut plenty of images regarding the themes life, dead, machines –  I created two new panels  – I reproduced the missing part of one body – I used a lot of spray glue and some meters of fabric tape to „frame“ them – and finally I finished the three panels! What a journey. I never made such huge collages – and I do not know if I would do it again – we will see.

Ausstellung / Exhibition: Pieced Together

I´m very pleased to be included in the group show „Pieced Together“ at Sulfur Studios in Savannah – Georgia, USA- an International Call for Entry exhibition with special juror Axelle Kiefer. The show is on display at Sulfur Studios from June 15th – July 1st. The opening will be on Friday, June 16, 2017 –   

Ich freue mich sehr, bei der Gruppenausstellung „Pieced Together“ in der Galerie Sulfur Studios in Savannah – Georgia, USA – dabei zu sein. Die Ausstellung ist zu sehen vom 15. Juni bis 1. Juli – die Eröffnung findet am Freitag, 16.6. von 18.00 – 21.00 Uhr.
