Das erste von zwei Büchern, die ich im Rahmen meines Kollaborationsprojektes
Die ungleichen Zwillinge dieses Mal mit Carina Granlund bearbeite, ist fertig.
Zwei gleiche Bücher aus der Insel Bücherei, vor dem Altpapiercontainer gerettet, dienen als Grundlage und werden von mir an den jeweiligen Kollaborationspartner verschickt. Beide gestalten eins der beiden Bücher als Starter, beide beenden das jeweils andere, so dass am Ende zwei Originale Bücher entstanden sind. Jeder erhält sein gestartetes Buch zurück.
Das ist das Buch, dass ich für Carina gestartet habe – und sie hat es beendet.
Ich bin schockverliebt! Vielen Dank, Carina!

Der Affenkopf am Ende des Buches ist von  Zoe Punk  – ich habe ihn vor vielen Jahren gekauft.

The first of two books that I’ve altered as part of my collaboration project
The Unequal Twins – this time with Carina Granlund, is finished.
Two identical books from the Island Library, saved from the waste paper container, serve as a basis and will be sent by me to the respective collaboration partner. Both design one of the two books as a starter, both finish the other, so that at the end two original books are created. Everyone gets his started book back.
This is the book I started for Carina – and she finished it.
I am totally in love with it! Thank you so much, Carina!

The monkey head at the end of the book is made by Zoe Punk – I bought it many years ago.

Carina Granlund und ich tauschen seit längerer Zeit Mail Art aus. Dieses wundervolle Buch habe ich kürzlich von ihr erhalten – sowie die Zwillingsbücher und eine private Nachricht. Alles ist wundervoll – und ich liebe es! Vielen Dank, Carina! Mehr dazu den folgenden Artikeln.

Carina Granlund and I have been exchanging mail art for quite some time. I recently received this wonderful book from her – as well as the twin book and a private note. All is wonderful and I love it! Thank you so much, Carina! More details coming soon.

Eine Freundin hat einen wunderbaren Fund auf dem Flohmarkt gemacht – und mir geschenkt! Liebesbotschaften aus dem Jahr 1947. Das Erstaunliche an diesem Fund: Sie hat die 10 Karten aus einer riesigen Postkartenbox mit Hunderten von Karten ausgesucht – und hinterher festgestellt, dass alle von dem gleichen Absender waren: Heinz! Er muss wirklich mächtig verliebt in seine 20jährige Verlobte gewesen sein – und diese muss alle Karten aufgehoben haben Wie sie den Weg auf den Flohmarkt fanden ist leider unklar.

A friend made a wonderful find at the flea market – and gave it to me! Love messages from the year 1947. The amazing thing about this find: She chose the 10 cards from a huge postcard box with hundreds of cards randomly – and afterwards found out that all were from the same sender: Heinz! He must have been really mightily in love with his 20-year-old fiancée – and she must have kept all the cards over the years. How they found their way to the flea market is unfortunately unclear.

I took part in the assembling magazine „Excavations“ running by Svenja Wahl: 20 artists created 20 original works and send them to Svenja. This resulted in a magazine including 20 original works of each participant with an edition of 20 copies. Each participant received one copy of the magazine.

Ich habe erneut bei dem Magazine Excavations von Svenja Wahl teilgenommen:
20 Künstler haben je 20 Originalarbeiten in DinA 5 erstellt und an Svenja geschickt. Daraus entstand ein Magazin mit jeweils 20 Originalarbeiten aller Teilnehmenden in einer Auflage von 20 Stück. Jeder der Teilnehmenden hat ein Exemplar des Magazins erhalten.

Nicola Winborn hat mich eingeladen, bei ihrem Assembling Magazine ATTIC ZINE teilzunehmen. Vielen Dank für die Einladung! Diesmal lautete das Thema “Lila”. Nun habe ich das Magazin erhalten – es sind schöne Beiträge dabei.
Hier sind meine 20 Originale zu sehen – mit lila Briefmarken und meinem – lila – Dada-Stempel.
