Adamo Rousopoulos hat mir wieder ganz wunderbare Künstler-Briefmarken gesendet. Ein Boden schöner als der andere. Auch einen Abdruck einer der Stempelplatten von seinem Künstler-Portrait-Stempel-Projekt, an dem ich auch teilgenommen habe.
Sally Wassink sendet mir jedes Jahr einen ihrer Kalender – auch dieser ist wieder super – vielen Dank! Und die außergewöhnlichen Briefmarken auf dem Umschlag! ich bin begeistert!
Stefan Heuer hat mit Lottchen Echo aka Svenja Wahl wieder kollaboriert – daraus entstand ein kleines Heft, dass mir Stefan geschickt.
Jean Levine hat eine Postkarte gesendet.

Adamo Rousopoulos has once again sent me some wonderful artist stamps. One bottom is more beautiful than the other. Also a print of one of the stamp plates from his artist portrait stamp project, in which I also took part.
Sally Wassink sends me one of her calendars every year – this one is great again – thank you very much! And the unusual stamps on the envelope! I’m thrilled!
Stefan Heuer collaborated with Lottchen Echo aka Svenja Wahl again – this resulted in a little booklet that Stefan sent me.
Jean Levine sent a postcard.

Ich freue mich sehr, bei R_epertoire – X. International Spanish Flue Mail Art Biennale, Veres Attila – Hall of the Thalia House of the Herman Ottó Museum – Miskolc Gallery, HUN mit meiner Collage DADA THEATRE (A4) dabei zu sein.
Die Ausstellung wird am Welt-Theater-Tag, 27.3.204, eröffnet und ist bis August 2024.

I am very happy to be part of R_epertoire – X. International Spanish Flue Mail Art Biennale, Veres Attila – Hall of the Thalia House of the Herman Ottó Museum – Miskolc Gallery, HUN with my collage DADA THEATRE (A4).
The exhibition will open on World Theater Day, 27.3.204, and will run until August 2024.

Eine Berlinreise lohnt sich immer – einige der Highlights waren:
* Wandgemälde MAKE ART NOT WAR von Obey (Shepard Fairey)
28 Mehringplatz, 10969 Berlin
eine interessante Seite, auf der man alle Streetart weltweit entdecken kann ist hier zu sehen
* Die Neue Nationalgalerie ist nach jahrelanger Sanierung (2015 – 2021) wieder geöffnet. Die Architektur von Ludwig Mies van der Rohe hat mich wieder einmal fasziniert. Die derzeitigen Sonderausstellungen u.a. über Gerhard Richter und Josephine Baker sind genauso sehenswert wie die Dauerausstellung.
* Ein Besuch im Jüdischen Museum Berlin – beeindruckende Architektur von Daniel Libeskind und eine umfangreiche, sehr eindrückliche Dauerausstellung haben mich überzeugt. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich die Installation im Memory Void, einem der symbolischen Leerräume im Libeskind-Bau: SCHALECHET (Gefallenes Laub) von Menashe Kadishman: Über 10.000 Gesichter mit aufgerissenen Mündern, aus schweren, runden Eisenplatten geschnitten. Es ist erlaubt, das Kunstwerk zu betreten – dadurch entstehen metallische, industrielle, harte Geräusche, die von den hohen Wänden widerhallen. Sehr bedrückend.

A trip to Berlin is always worthwhile – some of the highlights were:
* Mural MAKE ART NOT WAR by Obey (Shepard Fairey)

an interesting site where you can discover all street art worldwide can be found here
* The Neue Nationalgalerie is open again after years of renovation (2015 – 2021). The architecture of Ludwig Mies van der Rohe fascinated me once again. The current special exhibitions on Gerhard Richter and Josephine Baker, among others, are just as worth seeing as the permanent exhibition.
* A visit to the Jewish Museum Berlin – impressive architecture by Daniel Libeskind and an extensive, very impressive permanent exhibition convinced me. I would particularly like to highlight the installation in the Memory Void, one of the symbolic empty spaces in the Libeskind building: SCHALECHET (Fallen Leaves) by Menashe Kadishman: over 10,000 faces with torn open mouths, cut out of heavy, round iron plates. It is permitted to enter the artwork – this creates metallic, industrial, hard noises that echo off the high walls. Very oppressive.

Collaboration No 19 + 20 with Michelangelo Mayo (USA)

Bei der Kollaboration mit Michelangelo Mayo sendet er mir jeweils zwei ähnliche Starter (siehe rechts) die ich dann beende (siehe links). Hier Kollaboration Nr. 19 und 20. Aus dem Querformat des Starters habe ich ein Hochformat gemacht.

WIPE – Everything Banana

Passend zu meinem diesjährigen künstlerischen Motto „Alles Banane“ habe ich für WIPE, einem Sammelmagazin basierend auf Toilettenpapier, das von David Dellafiora organisiert wird, einen Beitrag mit meinem neuen Stempel gemacht: 40 Blätter Toilettenpapier, gestempelt, signiert, nummeriert mit Textbeitrag: „Alles Banane“ – meine künstlerische Maxime für 2024 im Sinne von „Alles in Ordnung, es gibt keine Probleme, alles ist so, wie es sein soll“ oder auch „Das ist egal, unwichtig oder auch unsinnig“.

english version:
In keeping with my artistic maxim for this year, „Everything banana“, I made a contribution with my new stamp for WIPE, an assembling magazine based on toilet paper, running by David Dellafiora: 40 sheets of toilet paper, stamped, signed, numbered with a text contribution: „Everything banana“ – my artistic maxim for 2024 in the sense of „Everything is fine, there are no problems, everything is as it should be“ or „It doesn’t matter, it’s unimportant or even nonsensical“.
