Eigentlich habe ich den Ausflug gemacht, um Kurt Schwitters rekonstruierten „MERZbau“ zu sehen, der Teil des dauerhaften Kurt Schwitters Archivs ist. Aber glücklicherweise wurde auch Julian Rosefeldts „Manifesto“ ausgestellt, das ich kürzlich verpasst habe, als es in meiner Nähe gezeigt wurde.
Das Museum ist riesig – ich war drei Stunden dort und habe nur einen kleinen Teil gesehen – und sie haben eine wirklich großartige Sammlung. Sehr sehenswert!

Actually I made the trip to see Kurt Schwitters´ reconstructed „MERZbau“ which is part of the permanent Kurt Schwitters´ archive – but luckily there was also Julian Rosefeldt´s „Manifesto“ which I missed lately nearby my home town.
The museum is giant – I was three hours inside and did only see a small part of it – and they really have a great collection. Worth to see!

Ich freue mich, mit meiner Collage „Homage to Kurt Schnitters´ MERZ-Bau“ dabei zu sein: Heute ist Ausstellungseröffnung von The International Museum of Collage, Assemblage and Construction (collagemuseum.com) with the International Society of Assemblage and Collage Artists (collagist.org) in Santa Fe, New Mexico, USA anläßlich des 100. Geburtstag von DADA. Es ist eine internationale Ausstellung, vom 4.11.2016 bis einschließlich Januar 2017. Die Arbeiten werden auch online gezeigt auf dem Blog unter “Dada Centennial”. Ein Ausstellungskatalog ist geplant.
I´m glad to take part with my collage „Homage to Kurt Schwitter´ MERZ-Bau“: Today is opening of the exhibition of The International Museum of Collage, Assemblage and Construction (collagemuseum.com) with the International Society of Assemblage and Collage Artists (collagist.org) in Santa Fe, New Mexico, USA to celebrate the 100 year Anniversary of DADA! It´s an international exhibition – beginning with the opening today, November 4, 2016 and continue through January 2017. The works will be on permanent exhibit online on the inventory blog under “Dada Centennial”. A catalog is in the works as well.

Das ist mein Beitrag für Svenja Wahls „Excavations-mag“ – ein Briefwechsel-Kunst-Magazin mit Originalarbeiten von internationalen Teilnehmern. Jeder Teilnehmer muss 20 (plus 2) Seiten in DinA 5 – Größe kreieren und an Svenja schicken. Zum Schluß erhält jeder eine Zusammenstellung mit jeweils einer Originalarbeit aller Teilnehmer. Ich freue mich sehr, nun schon zum dritten Mal dabei zu sein! Ich habe 25 Originale gemacht – drei behalte ich.
This is my contribution to Svenja Wahl´s „Excavations-mag“ – „a magazine of correspondence art with original paper works from international participants“. All participants must create 20 (plus 2) pages Din A5 sized (14, 8 x 21 cm) and send them to Svenja. At the end each one receive a compilation with one original work from each participant. I´m very happy to take part for the third time! I made 25 originals and keep three of them.
