Bound And Unbound VIII – Exhibition

Eine große Ehre, dass „Double Vision“ – ein kollaboratives Künstlerbuch von Lynn Skordal und mir – Teil der international jurierten Ausstellung „Bound and Unbound VIII“ der University Libraries der University of South Dakota (USA) wird.
75 Künstler mit 124 Werken aus zwölf Ländern haben sich auf die Ausschreibung beworben. 31 Künstler und 35 Werke aus sieben Ländern wurden von der Jury, Isobelle Ouzman, zugelassen.
Die Ausstellung war vom 25. August 2025 bis zum 5. Januar 2026 zu sehen.

Lynn und ich arbeiten seit 2013 kontinuierlich zusammen, und wir haben bislang 128 Collagen gemeinsam kreiert. 2015 haben wir uns persönlich kennengelernt. Lynn überreichte mir das gestartete Buch für diese Kollaboration persönlich, statt es mir, wie sonst, per Post zukommen ließ. Sehr besonders! Um so schöner, dass es nun in der Ausstellung zu sehen sein wird. Herzlichen Dank an die Jury und die University Libraries der University of South Dakota.

It was a great honor that “Double Vision” – a collaborative artist book by Lynn Skordal and myself – was part of the internationally juried exhibition “Bound and Unbound VIII” at the University Libraries of the University of South Dakota (USA).
75 artists with 124 works from twelve countries participated in the call for entries. 31 artists and 35 works from seven countries were accepted by the jury, Isobelle Ouzman.
The exhibition was on view from August 25, 2025 to January 5, 2026.

“Double Vision” is an artist-book collaboration from 2015, started by Lynn Skordal (USA), finished by Sabine Remy (D)

Lynn and I have been working together continuously since 2013, and we have created 128 collages together so far. We met in person in 2015. Lynn presented me with the launched book for this collaboration in person, rather than sending it to me by post as usual. Very special! All the better that it will now be on display in the exhibition. Many thanks to the jury and the University Libraries of the University of South Dakota.

Ray Johnson Mail Art Call

Ray Johnson, Pionier der Mail Art und Gründer der New York Correspondance School, ist dieser Mail Art Call gewidmet, der mit einer Ausstellung in der MKP Jezerka Library and Studio abschließt.  Zwei meiner Zines, die ich via Mail Art über die Welt verteilt, sowie eine  Originalarbeit, die ich in einer Auflage von acht Stück zum Zwecke der Mail Art kreiert habe, werden dabei sein.
Ein großartiges Project, initiiert von  Simona Michalková.

This Mail Art Call is dedicated to Ray Johnson, a pioneer of Mail Art and founder of the New York Correspondence School, and will culminate in an exhibition at the MKP Jezerka Library and Studio. Two of my zines, which I have distributed around the world via Mail Art, as well as an original work that I created in an edition of eight specifically for Mail Art, will be on display.
A wonderful project, initiated by Simona Michalková.

Sisyphos – Exhibiton

My contribution to the ‘Sisyphos’ mail art call organised by the Sisyphos Society (Berlin, Germany), which included an exhibition held in February 2026 and a publication featuring all 274 entries from 192 participants across 36 countries and 4 continents – I have been in contact with and/or collaborating with some of them for many years.

Mein Beitrag zum Mail Art Call „Sisyphos“ von der Sisyphos-Gesellschaft (Berlin, D) mit einer Ausstellung, die im Februar 2026 stattgefunden hat sowie einer Publikation mit allen 274 Einsendungen von 192 Teilnehmenden aus 36 Ländern und 4 Kontinenten – mit einigen von ihnen bin ich seit vielen Jahren im Austausch und/ oder Zusammenarbeit.
