Carrie Helser (USA) hat mir letztes Jahr ein ganz besonderes Weihnachtsgeschenk gemacht: Ihr Freund Willyum Rowe hat für das Jahr 2020 ein Kunst-Abonnement als eine Art Spendenaktion für sich selbst konzipiert: Jeder Abonnent erhält monatlich von ihm ein Original-Kunstwerk, das in dem eigens dafür gestalteten „Museums-Umschlag“ aufbewahrt werden kann. Carrie hat ein Abo für mich gekauft. Ich war ganz überwältigt von so viel Großzügigkeit – und sehr gespannt auf Willyums Mail Art!
Und im Januar also war es soweit – ich habe die erste Post von Willyum bekommen – und bin sehr erfreut und nun noch gespannter auf die folgenden Karten.

Last year Carrie Helser (USA) gave me a very special Christmas present: Her friend Willyum Rowe has designed an art subscription for the year 2020 as a kind of fundraiser for herself: Each subscriber will receive an original work of art from him each month, which can be kept in the specially designed „museum envelope“. Carrie bought a subscription for me. I was overwhelmed by so much generosity – and very excited about Willyum’s Mail Art!
And so in January the time had come – I received the first mail from Willyum – and I am very pleased and now even more excited about the following cards.

This is my entry to VISION 20-20 – California Fluxfest 2020 – an international mail art exhibition.
Dies ist mein Beitrag zu VISION 20-20 – California Fluxfest 2020 – einer internationalen Postkunstausstellung.
I took part in “The Collage Garden” for several times (in Scotland, The Netherlands, New York and Moscow). Unfortunatelly I missed the last one in Cartagena. But now I am prepared for the next one – where and when ever it will be in 2020 because I really love the idea of an open air group exhibition.
Ich habe bei ”The Collage Garden” schon einige Male mitgemacht (in Schottland, den Niederlanden,New York und Moskau). Leider habe ich den letzten in Cartagena verpasst. Aber für den nächsten bin ich nun schon vorbereitet, wann und wo auch immer er in 2020 stattfinden wird, weil ich die Idee von einer Open Air- Gruppenausstellung wirklich schön finde.
