Vor einiger Zeit habe ich Bernd Beller eine Postkarte mit meinem neuen, selbst designten  Hugo Ball Stempel geschickt. Er hat dazu einen dadaistischen Text geschrieben und rund um Hugo gesetzt. Für die bessere Lesbarkeit hat er den Text noch handschriftlich aufgesetzt und mitgeschickt. Mir gefällt es sehr gut – sowohl die Idee als auch die Ausführung.

Some time ago I sent Bernd Beller a postcard with my new, self-designed Hugo Ball stamp. He wrote a dadaistic text and added it around Hugo. For better readability he also send the text written by hand. I like it very much – both the idea and the execution.

Internationale Collage-Kunstausstellung 2020, kuratiert von Anna Klos  in der Retroavangarda Galerie in Warschau (PL), wurde wegen des Corona-Virus abgesagt.
Es tut mir sehr leid für alle beteiligten KünstlerInnen, aber besonders für Anna Klos und ihr Team, wegen all der Arbeit und der Anstrengungen, die sie bereits in diese Ausstellung investiert hat. Aber ich denke, dies ist die beste und vernünftigste Entscheidung, die man in diesen Tagen treffen kann. Passt auf Euch auf und bleibt gesund!
Unten ist meine Collage zu sehen, die dabei gewesen wäre – und eine Liste aller „teilnehmenden“, ausgewählten KünstlerInnen.

Es ist vollbracht!

Das zweite Buch der Ungleichen Zwillinge mit Carina Granlund ist fertig und somit das Zwillingspaar vollständig.
In einem vorherigen Artikel habe ich den ersten Zwilling gezeigt, von mir gestartet und von Carina beendet. Hier nun das Buch, das Carina gestartet und ich fertiggestellt und an sie zurückgeschickt habe (Video und Fotos weiter unten). Vielen Dank für´s Mitmachen!
Ausgangsmaterial: Insel Bücherei Nr. 433 – Frans Masareel – Geschichte ohne Worte
Nun sind insgesamt 23 Zwillingsbücher fertig.

Dieses Buch ist Teil eines fortlaufenden Kollaborationsprojektes namens „Die ungleichen Zwillinge“, welches ich im Jahr 2018 initiiert habe.
Zwei gleiche Bücher aus der Insel Bücherei dienen als Grundlage.
Diese werden von mir zusammengestellt und an den jeweiligen Kollaborationspartner verschickt. Beide gestalten eins der beiden Bücher als Starter, beide beenden das jeweils andere, so dass am Ende zwei Originale Bücher entstanden sind. Jeder erhält sein gestartetes Buch zurück.

The second book of the Unequal Twins with Carina Granlund is finished and the pair of twins is complete.

Two identical books from the Insel Bücherei (Island Library), saved from the waste paper container, serve as a basis and will be sent by me, Sabine Remy, to the respective collaboration partner. Both design one of the two books as a starter, both finish the other, so that at the end two original books are created. Everyone gets his started book back.

20 gestempelte Postkarten mit meinem aktuellen Hugo Ball Stempel, den ich kürzlich designed habe, an Gina Geo für ihr Sammelmagazin Art in a Box, an dem ich zum ersten Mal teilnehme. Das Thema ist „Erinnerung“.
In Erinnerung an Hugo Ball, der sich im Cabaret Voltaire als „magischer Priester“ verkleidet hat und in einem Papstkostüm am 23. Juni 1916 feierlich das erste Lautgedicht des Dadaismus rezitierte.
Hugo Ball: * 22. Februar 1886 in Pirmasens, Deutschland / † 14. September 1927
Cabaret Voltaire: ein am 5. Januar 1916 gegründetes Künstlerlokal in Zürich, der Geburtsstätte des Dadaismus

20 stamped postcards with my brand new Hugo Ball rubber stamp which I have designed lately, to Gina Geo for her Art in a Box assembling magazine where I am now taking part for the first time. The theme is „Memory“.
In MEMORY of Hugo Ball, who in Cabaret Voltaire, dressed as a „magical priest“ in a pope costume on 23 June 1916, solemnly recites the first sound poem of Dadaism.
