It took us a while but finally we did it: A collaboration between Axelle Kieffer, Lisa D. Watson and me. This collage is going to be exhibited in a collage show in Savanna, GA, USA this year. I wish I could join.
Es hat eine Weile gedauert, aber schließlich haben wir es geschafft: Eine Kollaboration mit Axelle Kieffer, Lisa D. Watson und mir. Diese Collage wird in einer Ausstellung in Savannah, GA, USA gezeigt – ich wünschte, ich könnte dort sein.

Das erste von zwei Büchern, die ich im Rahmen meines Kollaborationsprojektes
Die ungleichen Zwillinge bearbeite, ist fertig – dieses Mal mit Olga Lupi.
Zwei gleiche Bücher aus der Insel Bücherei dienen als Grundlage und werden von mir an den jeweiligen Kollaborationspartner verschickt. Beide gestalten eins der beiden Bücher als Starter, beide beenden das jeweils andere, so dass am Ende zwei Originale Bücher entstanden sind. Jeder erhält sein gestartetes Buch zurück.
Das ist das Buch, dass ich für Olga gestartet habe – und sie hat es beendet.

The first of two books of my collaboration project
The Unequal Twins – this time with Olga Lupi – is finished.
Two identical books from the Insel Bücherei serve as a basis and will be sent by me to the respective collaboration partner. Both design one of the two books as a starter, both finish the other, so that at the end two original books are created. Everyone gets his started book back.
This is the book I started for Olga – and she finished it.

Die ungleichen Zwillinge – Reloaded
mit RF Côté (1/2)
Das erste von zwei Büchern, die ich im Rahmen meines Kollaborationsprojektes
Die ungleichen Zwillinge bearbeite, ist fertig – dieses Mal mit RF Côté.
Zwei gleiche Bücher aus der Insel Bücherei dienen als Grundlage und werden von mir an den jeweiligen Kollaborationspartner verschickt. Beide gestalten eins der beiden Bücher als Starter, beide beenden das jeweils andere, so dass am Ende zwei Originale Bücher entstanden sind. Jeder erhält sein gestartetes Buch zurück.
Die Rahmenbedingungen habe ich modifiziert: Bei „Reloaded“ geht es nicht mehr darum, den Buchkörper zu verändern, sondern das entkernte Buch auf dem Umschlag und den verbliebenen Innenseiten zu bearbeiten.
Das ist das Buch, dass ich für Reg gestartet habe – und er hat es beendet.

The Unequal Twins – this time with RF Côté– is finished.
Two identical books from the Insel Bücherei serve as a basis and will be sent by me to the respective collaboration partner. Both design one of the two books as a starter, both finish the other, so that at the end two original books are created. Everyone gets his started book back.
I have modified the basic conditions: In „Reloaded“ it is no longer about changing the book body, but about editing the de-inked book on the cover and the left inside pages.

Excavations No. 7
Erneut habe ich bei dem Magazine Excavations von Svenja Wahl teilgenommen:
20 Künstler haben je 20 Originalarbeiten in DinA 5 erstellt und an Svenja geschickt. Daraus entstand ein Magazin mit jeweils 20 Originalarbeiten aller Teilnehmenden in einer Auflage von 20 Stück. Jeder der Teilnehmenden hat ein Exemplar des Magazins erhalten.

Ich finde es schön, dass viele Künstler-Freunde in diesem Magazin vertreten sind, mit denen ich schon das ein oder andere Projekt zusammen gemacht habe.

Again I participated in the magazine Excavations by Svenja Wahl:
20 artists each created 20 original works in DinA 5 and sent them to Svenja. This resulted in a magazine with 20 original works of all participants in an edition of 20 pieces. Each of the participants received a copy of the magazine.

I think it is nice that many artist friends are represented in this magazine, with whom I have already done one or the other project together.
