Mein Beitrag zum Aufruf von Maria Chorianopoulou. Die Organisation Cycladia veranstaltet jedes Jahr das dreitägige „Cycladic Light & Earth Festival“ (30. Juli – 1. August), und Maria wird während des Festivals eine Mail Art Ausstellung organisieren.
My contribution to the call from Maria Chorianopoulou.Cycladia organisation holdes the three-day „Cycladic Light & Earth Festival“ every year (July 30th-August 1st), and Maria will organise a mail art exhibition during the festival.
Es hat Spaß gemacht, an dem Aufruf von Edinburg Collage Collective mit dem Thema „Play and Record“ – Cassette Tape Collages teilzunehmen. Ich habe zwei Arbeiten gemacht- ein Portrait mit dem Titel „Face Time“ und ein Buch mit dem Titel „Vom Anfang bis zum Ende“, wozu ich das Buch aus der Inselbücherei Nr. 579 – Jean Paul – Horn und Flöte – Auswahl von Ernst Bertram verwendet habe.
It was fun to participate in the Edinburg Collage Collective call with the theme „Play and Record“ – Cassette Tape Collages. I made two works – a portrait titled „Face Time“ and a book titled „From the Beginning to the End“ using the book from Inselbücherei No. 579 – Jean Paul – Horn und Flöte – Auswahl von Ernst Bertram.
I took part in the assembling magazine „Excavations“ running by Svenja Wahl: 20 artists created 20 original works and send them to Svenja. This resulted in a magazine including 20 original works of each participant with an edition of 20 copies. Each participant received one copy of the magazine.

Ich habe erneut bei dem Magazine Excavations von Svenja Wahl teilgenommen:
20 Künstler haben je 20 Originalarbeiten in DinA 5 erstellt und an Svenja geschickt. Daraus entstand ein Magazin mit jeweils 20 Originalarbeiten aller Teilnehmenden in einer Auflage von 20 Stück. Jeder der Teilnehmenden hat ein Exemplar des Magazins erhalten.
Das zweite Buch der Ungleichen Zwillinge mit Volker Lenkeit ist fertig und somit das Zwillingspaar vollständig. Wir haben uns dafür 2 JAHRE Zeit genommen – eine sehr entschleunigte Zusammenarbeit!
In einem vorherigen Artikel habe ich den ersten Zwilling gezeigt, von mir gestartet und von Volker beendet. Hier nun das Buch, das Volker gestartet und ich fertiggestellt habe (Video und Fotos weiter unten). Vielen Dank für´s Mitmachen!

Dieses Buch ist Teil eines fortlaufenden Kollaborationsprojektes namens „Die ungleichen Zwillinge“, welches ich im Jahr 2018 initiiert habe.
Zwei gleiche Bücher aus der Insel Bücherei dienen als Grundlage.
Diese werden von mir zusammengestellt und an den jeweiligen Kollaborationspartner verschickt. Beide gestalten eins der beiden Bücher als Starter, beide beenden das jeweils andere, so dass am Ende zwei Originale Bücher entstanden sind. Jeder erhält sein gestartetes Buch zurück.

The second book of the Unequal Twins with Volker Lenkeit is finished and the pair of twins is complete. We took 2 YEARS to do this – a very decelerated collaboration!

This book is part of an ongoing project by me called „The Unequal Twins“, started 2018. Two identical books from the Insel Bücherei (Island Library), saved from the waste paper container, serve as a basis and will be sent by me, Sabine Remy, to the respective collaboration partner. Both design one of the two books as a starter, both finish the other, so that at the end two original books are created. Everyone gets his started book back.
Ich habe meine aktuelle Collage genutzt, um an der 1. Internationalen Biennale von Autorenbriefmarken, organisiert von Maya Lopez, teilzunehmen, zu der sie mich eingeladen hat. Aus den Einsendungen werden Tafeln mit jeweils 31 Briefmarken erstellt. Ich bin gespannt.
Die einzelnen Werke und die komplette Serie werden für Publikationen, virtuelle und / oder reale Ausstellungen, Wanderausstellungen und kulturelle Veranstaltungen verwendet.
I used my current collage to participate in the 1st International Biennial of Authors‘ Stamps, organized by Maya Lopez, to which she invited me. The entries will be used to create panels of 31 stamps each. I am excited.
The individual works and the complete series will be used for publications, virtual and / or real exhibitions, traveling exhibitions and cultural events.
Ich freu mich sehr, an einer weiteren Gruppenausstellung beteiligt zu sein, mit meinen Fächern, die ich für Petra Lorenz Fächerprojekt erstellt habe.
