Publikation von Kevin Geronimo Brandtner zu seinem Mail Art Aufruf „100 Jahre Beuys – Fluxus“ – 184 Seiten voller wunderbarere Mail Art und Interviews einzelner Teilnehmer. Publication by Kevin Geronimo Brandtner on his mail art call „100 Years of Beuys – Fluxus“ – 184 pages full of wonderful mail art and interviews of individual participants. Collaboration with Lynn Skordal (No 122)

Ich freue mich sehr, dass Lynn Skordal und ich seit 2013 kontinuierlich zusammenarbeiten und mal in kürzeren, mal in längeren Abständen uns Starter und fertiggestellte Kollaborationen per Post hin und er schicken. Hier nun ist Kollaboration Nr. 122 DREAM GIRL – von mir gestartet, von Lynn beendet. Den Buchrücken habe ich in einem öffentlichen Büchertauschregal während meines Italienurlaubs im Mai diesen Jahres gefunden – so ist er von Italien, nach Deutschland, in die USA und zurück nach Italien gereist. Ein wirklich abenteuerliches Leben für einen Buchdeckel!

I am very happy that Lynn Skordal and I have been working together continuously since 2013 and sometimes in shorter, sometimes in longer intervals send us starters and completed collaborations by mail back and forth. Here now is collaboration #122 DREAM GIRL – started by me, finished by Lynn. I found the spine of the book on a public book swap shelf during my vacation in Italy this May – so it has traveled from Italy, to Germany, to the US, and back to Italy. A truly adventurous life for a book cover!

Immer wieder wunderbar, bei Zine in a box – ein Sammelmagazin von TicTac Ptrzia – dabei zu sein – dieses mal in Nr. 21 mit meinem Beitrag „The Thread Of Her Story“.

Michelangelo Mayo und ich haben zum ersten Mal zusammengearbeitet. Er hat mir vor einiger Zeit einen Satz an Startern geschickt – vier Motive in zweifacher Ausführung. So sind nun insgesamt 8 Collagen entstanden, jeweils als Paar. Heute zeige ich die anderen zwei Paare.
Am Ende des Artikels sind die Starter dazu zu sehen

Michelangelo Mayo and I collaborated for the first time. He has sent me some time ago a set of starters – four motifs in duplicate. So now a total of 8 collages were created, each as a pair. Today I show the other two pairs.

Das „European Tour Project“ wurde initiiert von Laurence Gillot, nachdem sie auf dem Flohmarkt Berge von alten Pocket-Souvenir-Fotos gefunden hat. Sie versendet an eingeladene Projekt-Teilnehmende eine Auswahl von diesen Pockets, aus denen man 12 Fotos bearbeiten und zurücksenden soll. Zum Schluß erhält jedeR Teilnehmende eine Sammlung von 12 unterschiedlichen Reisezielen – ein Sammelmagazin also.
Ich habe mich für die Bayerischen Alpen entschieden und daraus einen Comic-Strip gemacht. Besten Dank für die Einladung, an Deinem Projekt teilzunehmen, liebe Laurence. Und nun bin ich gespannt auf die Beiträge der anderen.

The „European Tour Project“ was initiated by Laurence Gillot after she found mountains of old pocket souvenir photos at a flea market. She sends a selection of these pockets to invited project participants, who are asked to edit and return 12 photos. In the end, each participant receives a collection of 12 different travel destinations – an assembling zine, in other words.
I chose the Bavarian Alps and made a comic strip out of it. Thank you very much for the invitation to participate in your project, dear Laurence. And now I’m looking forward to the contributions of the others.
