* Adam Roussopoulus sent me a poster on the occasion of FluxusFest 2023 in NYC: a screen print with portraits of him and Michael Orr; a sheet of artist stamps „Front Row Seat to the End Of the World“ – very impressive!; a documentation sheet of his portrait stamp project, in which I also participated some time ago; and all this in an „Abracadabra“-stamped envelope with very fine stamps
* John Held sent me artist’s stamps, plus two mail art appeals – one of them from 1988 – and bunny stickers
* Vittore Baroni sent me an artist’s stamp set „Art is a chemical reaction“ and further fine mail art

* ein Streichholzschachtel-Adventskalender von der Tauschlade – klein und prall voll mit Texten, Gedanken und Anregungen en miniature, alles Handarbeit, alles liebevoll
* „Trojaner“ – eine Collage von Erec Schumacher
* „Scharfe Schere – nacktes Beil“ – ein signierter Katalog zur gleichnamigen Ausstellung von Stefan Heuer und Boris Kerenski im deutschen Fleischermuseum Böblingen, mit limitierter Original-Collage
* bearbeitete Kollaborations-Collagen und eine original Collage von Annie Krim, auf dem Umschlag eine wunderbare Briefmarke

Vielen Dank an Lutz Anders für die Organisation der Mail Art Ausstellung „Hommage an Pablo Picasso“ und die wunderbare Dokumentation darüber, die ich neulich erhalten habe!
304 Künstler haben ebensoviele Arbeiten aus 43 Ländern und 4 Kontinenten geschickt. Die Ausstellung fand vom 29.9. – 11.10.2023 im Kunstraum Reuter, Berlin, statt.
Der Katalog in Form von drei beidseitig bedruckten DinA3 Bögen gefällt mir sehr gut – jeder Künstler wurde seinem Werk namentlich zugeordnet. Ein Extra: drei Künstler-Briefmarken mit meiner Einsendung! Super Idee!
Ganz sicher werde ich bei dem nächsten Mail Art Aufruf wieder dabei sein.
Unten ist mein Beitrag zu sehen.

Many thanks to Lutz Anders for organizing the mail art exhibition „Homage to Pablo Picasso“ and the wonderful documentation I received the other day!
304 artists sent as many works from 43 countries and 4 continents. The exhibition took place from 29.9. – 11.10.2023 at Kunstraum Reuter, Berlin.
I really like the catalog in the form of three DinA3 sheets printed on both sides – each artist was assigned to their work by name. An extra: three artist stamps with my entry! What a great idea!
I will definitely be back for the next Mail Art call.

Das Titelbild dieser Ausgabe (gestaltet von David) feiert das Jahr des Hasen mit einer Hommage an den großen Mailartisten Ray Johnson. Daraus entstehen 40 signierte und nummerierte Boxen. Nur 15 Exemplare stehen zum Verkauf zur Verfügung – je eine Box erhalten die teilnehmenden Künstler.
Hier nun meine 40 nummerierten Original-Collagen als neuen Beitrag. Zwar ist es stets viel Arbeit, die Beiträge zu erstellen, aber es lohnt sich, denn die Boxen von Francis und Ham sind wirklich immer wunderbar und der Mühe wert! Fünf mal habe ich nun schon gemacht – und nun bin ich auf die nächste Ausgabe gespannt.

Here now my 40 numbered original collages as a new contribution. While it’s always a lot of work to create the posts, it’s worth it because Francis and Ham’s boxes are really always wonderful and worth the effort! Five times I’ve done them now – and now I’m looking forward to the next edition.
