Für Ptrzia TIC TAC und ihr ”Zine in a Box” Mail Art Projekt habe ich erneut 25 DinA5 große Originalarbeiten erstellt. Jeder Teilnehmer (inges. 25) erhält später eine Original-Editions-Box mit je einer Originalarbeit der anderen Teilnehmer. Ich freue mich schon jetzt darauf!

Once again I produced 25 original collages in A5 size for Ptrzia TIC TAC´s  “Zine in a Box” mail art project. Each participant (25 all in all) will receive an  original edition´s box including one original work per participant. I´m already looking forward to it.

Nachdem ich für TIC TAC Patrizias Zine in a book all die kleinen Dada-Mäulchen auf den Weg geschickt habe, war ich schon ein bisschen traurig. Deswegen habe ich meine eigene Kollektion mit neuen Bildern gemacht und alle in einem Buch zusammengefasst.

After I made my contribution for TIC TAC Patrizias Zine in a box I was a bit sad to let all those little Dada-mouths go. Therefore I made my own collection with other images and put them all together in one book.

Ich habe einen Ausflug zur Zeche Zollern II / IV in Dortmund gemacht.
Die Zeche wurde 1898 als Prestigeobjekt gebaut. Nach einer bewegten Geschichte steht sie seit 1966 still und ist nunmehr eine von acht authentischen Industriestandorten des Westfälischen Industriemuseums.
Noch bis zum 8.10.2017 läuft die Ausstellung „Erich Grisar – Ruhrgebietsfotografien 1928 – 1933“. „Die Aufnahmen des Dortmunder Schriftstellers und Fotografen Erich Grisar (1898-1955) entstanden überwiegend in seiner Heimatstadt. Sie zeigen den städtischen Alltag, die harte körperliche Arbeit und Siedlungen mit den mächtigen Industrieanlagen im Hintergrund. Grisar hat gezielt Themen aus dem Arbeitermilieu fotografiert, zu denen er zeitlebens auch schriftstellerisch gearbeitet hat.“ (Quelle)
Sowohl die Zeche selbst als auch die Sonderausstellung sind absolut sehenswert!

I made a trip to Zeche Zollern – The Zollern Colliery in Dortmund.
The Colliery was built 1898 as a prestige object and after an eventful history in 1966 it was closed for good. Now it is one of eight authentic industrial facilities of the Westphalian Industrial Museum.
Till the 8.10.2017 you can see the photo exhibition „Erich Grisar -Ruhr area photographs from 1928 – 1933“. Erich Grisar (1898 – 1955) was a journalist and photographer from Dortmund. His photos are mainly from his hometown. They are showing hard physical work and settlements with giant industry in the background.
Both, the Colliery and the exhibition is well worth  seeing.
