Überraschungspaket von derTauschlade

Die Überraschung war groß, als ein riesiges, schweres Paket von derTauschlade  – „umschlagplatz für künstlerisch-kreatives“ – bei mir eintraf. Prall gefüllt mit wunderbaren Collagematerialien: Buchdeckel, Sammelhefte, Beitrags- und Berichtebücher, Streichholzschachteletiketten, Kalender, Spielkarten … und eine ganz wunderbare Originalgrußkarte! Vielen vielen vielen Dank liebe Mirjam für diese ganz besondere „Wunderkammer“. Das ein oder andere Stück habe ich schon verarbeitet.

The surprise was great when a huge, heavy parcel from dieTauschlade – „a place of transshipment for artistic-creative“ – arrived. Full to bursting with wonderful collage materials: book covers, booklets, contribution- and report books, matchbox labels, calendars, playing cards … and a quite wonderful original greeting card! Many many thanks dear Mirjam for this very special „Chamber of Wonders“. One or the other piece I have already processed.

Call & Response
Experimental Mail Art Megazine No.112

Dies ist das zweite Mal, dass ich den Experimental Mail Art Megazine Call and Response No112 erhielt. (hier kannst Du das erste mal sehen – Nr. 111).
Es ist diesmal ein Katalog mit den fertigen Werken aller Teilnehmer des Calls No111 mit dem Titel „Vorsicht! Kunstwerk!“.  Es ist schön zu sehen, dass ich in guter Gesellschaft bin – einige bekannte Namen stehen auf der Liste der Teilnehmenden.
Und es gab einen weiteren „Call & Response“ zum Thema „Deine Vision“ – und so machte ich „Meine Vision“.
Es ist mir immer noch ein kleines Rätsel, wer hinter diesen Aufrufen und Magazinen steht – – aber es macht Spaß, und so nehme ich teil.

This is the second time I received the Experimental Mail Art Megazine Call and Response No112. (here the first time – No 111).
It´s a catalog, including the finished works of all participants from the Call No111 witch was called „Caution! Work of Art!“. It´s nice to see that I am in good company – some well known names are on the list.
And there was another „Call & Response“, themed „Your Vision“ – and so I made „My Vision“.
It´s still a little mystery for me who stands behind this calls and magazines – but it´s fun, and so I participate.

My contribution to KART

Ich freue mich sehr, zum zweiten Mal bei KART mitmachen zu dürfen. KART ist ein non-profit – Mail Art – Sammelmagazin in einer Box, ein fortlaufendes Projekt ohne Endtermin, eine Publikation, um die künstlerische und kulturelle Vielfalt zu fördern. KART wird in einer jeweils limitierten Auflage von 40 Stück produziert, jede Box enthält Arbeiten von 15 Künstlern. KART ist eine Kooperation zwischen Karingal und Field Study International. I am very pleased to be able to participate in KART for the second time: “…KART, a [non profit mail art] instant art collection in a box! … KART magazine is an assembling publication promoting artistic and cultural diversity. KART is an ongoing project with no deadlines and work is accepted on a continuing basis. “The Collage Garden Moskau” – eine temporäre (nicht kommerzielle) Open Air Ausstellung – ist nun eröffnet. Auf Instagram habe ich einen Artikel von Olga gefunden mit einem Foto von meiner Collage im Garten. Wie schön!

Two pieces for „The Collage Garden Moscow“ – a temporary open air (non profit) exhibition.
This is the third time I took part in The Collage Garden – first Netherlands, than New York and now Moscow. I like the idea and the project. To bad that I couldn’t go to join on person.

Zwei Collagen für „The Collage Garden Moskau“ – eine temporäre Open Air (nicht kommerzielle) Ausstellung. Das ist das dritte Mal, dass ich am Collage Garden teilgenommen habe – erst in Holland, dann in New York und nun in Moskau. Ich mag die Idee und das Projekt. Zu schade, dass ich nicht vor Ort sein kann.

Was für eine Briefkastenparty war das gestern! Wunderbare Mail Art von  Geronimo Finn, Nimfa M Ursabia, Vizma Bruns und Stefan Heuer – manche als Colas manche als Tausch gegen meinen Katalog. Dazu bald mehr und Näheres.

Lady Madonna Ausstellung im Jheronimus Bosch Art Center

Wie schön, bei der „Lady Madonna“- Mail Art Ausstellung im Jheronimus Bosch Art Center NL mit einer meiner eigenen und drei Collab-Collagen (zusammen mit Lynn Skordal und Josephine) dabei zu sein. Deswegen habe ich mich auf den Weg dorthin gemacht, um sie mir anzuschauen. Es ist eine gelungene Ausstellung in dem Glockenturm einer ehemaligen Kirche.  Es war schön, so viele bekannte Namen dort zu finden wie z.B. Mirela Anura, Allan Bealy, Vizma Bruns, David Dellafiora, Geronimo Finn, Frips (Ria Bowens), Hazel Jones, Volker Lenkeit, Tictac Patrizia, Nimfa M Ursabia … Schön, in so guter Gesellschaft zu sein.
Und besonders fantastisch: Sie haben aus meiner Madonna ein riesiges Poster gemacht – was für eine schöne Überraschung. Ich fühle mich sehr geehrt!
Die Ausstellung geht bis zum 6. Januar 2019.
Begleitend zu der Ausstellung erschien ein Katalog, den ich kürzlich per Post erhielt.

Happy to be part of „Lady Madonna“- Mail Art Exhibition at Jheronimus Bosch Art Center NL with one my own and three of collaborative collages (together with Lynn Skordal and Josephine). Therefore I made a day trip to s`Hertogenbosch to see the exhibition. It´s a nice show in the bell tower of a former church. I detected many of familiar names under the participants – Mirela Anura, Allan Bealy, Vizma Bruns, David Dellafiora, Geronimo Finn, Frips, Hazel Jones, Volker Lenkeit, Tictac Patrizia, Nimfa M Ursabia ….. just to name some of them. Nice to be in such good company.
And what a nice surprise: They made a huge poster with my Madonna. I feel very pleased about that!
The show is running till 6. January 2019 .
Accompanying the exhibition was a catalogue, which I recently received by post.

Edition Janus

Ich habe einen „mysteriösen“ Umschlag von Eberhard Janke – Edition Janus erhalten . Innen befand sich ein Mail Art Aufruf und ein geMERZtes Buch. Ich habe „Caution! Week of art!“ fertiggestellt und an Herrn Janke zurückgeschickt. Nun werden wir sehen.

I received a „mysterious“ envelope from  Eberhard Janke – Edition Janus – inside I found a mail art call and a MERZed book. I finished the card „Caution! Work of art!“ and send it back to Mister Janke. Now we will see.
