Ausgangsmaterial: Einband des Buches „Ich hörte die Lerchen singen“ von Kurt Matthies (1956) – gefunden in einem öffentlichen Bücherschrank.

Ausstellung in der Villa Monoyer- Lyon- Frankreich
„Tim und Struppi auf dem Postweg“ – zwei Ausstellungen in der Villa Monoyer, Lyon, Frankreich (Anfang Juni und September)
als Hommage an Hergé, dem belgischen Comiczeichner (Mai 1907 – März 1983) anlässlich seines 40. Todestages
initiiert und organisiert von Thierry Grenier, einem Sänger und Interpret französischer Chansons mit einer Leidenschaft für Tim und Struppi.
Ich freue mich sehr, dabei zu sein!
Es gibt einen pdf-Katalog von dem ich vier Seiten zeige. Thierry bat mich, nicht die vollständigen Namen der Teilnehmenden zu posten. Einige Freunde und Bekannte Mail Art Künstler sind dabei, wie z.B. Petra Lorenz, Christoph Blaise, Richard Baudet, Laurence Gillot, Mikel Untzilla und viele mehr.
Zum Ausstellungsort: Die Villa gehörte Ferdinand Monoyer (1836 – 1912), der in den 1900er Jahren ein berühmter Augenarzt und der Erfinder der Monoyer-Skala war, einer Tabelle mit kleinen Buchstaben zur Messung der Sehschärfe, die noch heute genutzt wird. Die Villa liegt in einem über 5.000 qm großen Park wo alljährlich kulturelle Veranstaltungen stattfinden. 2018 habe ich dort bereits an einer Mail Art Ausstellung zum Thema « La vue / les yeux » teilgenommen.

There is a pdf catalog of which I show four pages. Thierry asked me not to post the full names of the participants. Some friends and acquaintances Mail Art artists are there, such as Petra Lorenz, Christoph Blaise, Richard Baudet, Laurence Gillot, Mikel Untzilla and many more.
About the exhibition venue: the villa belonged to Ferdinand Monoyer (1836 – 1912), who was a famous ophthalmologist in the 1900s and the inventor of the Monoyer scale, a table of small letters used to measure visual acuity that is still used today. Tag der Kunst – Pirna – 2023
Ich freue mich sehr, beim Tag der Kunst in Pirna – 2023 – (1. und 2. Juli 2023) erneut dabei gewesen zu sein. Diesmal im Rahmen des von Petra Lorenz initiierten Projekts „Dress me – Dada“, bei dem alle beteiligten Künstler zwei von ihr zur Verfügung gestellte Papier-Anziehpuppen gestalten sollten.
Kunst und Events sind beim Tag der Kunst in zahlreichen temporären Galerien sowie open air in der Altstadt von Pirna zu sehen und zu erleben. Alle Infos zu Ausstellungen und Programm siehe Veranstaltungsflyer.

I am very pleased to have been present again at the Day of Art in Pirna – 2023 (July 1 and 2, 2023). This time as part of the project „Dress me – Dada“ initiated by Petra Lorenz , in which all participating artists were to design two paper dress-up dolls provided by her.
Art and events can be seen and experienced at the Day of Art in numerous temporary galleries as well as open air in the old town of Pirna. For all informations on exhibitions and the program, see the event flyer.

Eine weitere Mission von Special Agent Collage Collective (SACC)– unter der Leitung von Andrea Lewicki. Mission 11: ATC Tausch. Dafür musste man selber 3 Artist Trading Cards erstellen (obere Reihe), an Andrea senden und hat im Tausch dafür drei andere erhalten (untere Reihe). Die ATCs, die ich erhalten habe sind von (von links nach rechts): Tamara Bowles, Michelle L Miller und Marit Barentsen
Das hat Spaß gemacht. Bin gespannt, wer meine ATCs bekommen hat.

Die ungleichen Zwillinge
Starter Set an Doug Schulte (USA)
Nach einer wirklich langen Pause: Das ist mein Starterset für mein fortlaufendes Kollaborationsprojekt „Die ungleichen Zwillinge“ – dieses mal an Doug Schulte Ausgangsmaterial: Insel Bücherei Nr 221 – Hans Holbein – Bilder des Todes.
Das Projekt habe ich 2018 begonnen: Zwei gleiche Bücher aus der Insel Bücherei dienen als Grundlage. Diese werden von mir zusammengestellt und an den jeweiligen Kollaborationspartner verschickt. Beide gestalten eins der beiden Bücher als Starter, beide beenden das jeweils andere, so dass am Ende zwei Originale Bücher entstanden sind. Jeder erhält sein gestartetes Buch zurück.
Bislang haben 42 Collage-Freunde mitgemacht – das heißt: 84 Bücher sind fertig!
Die Bücher wurden schon mehrfach ausgestellt und das Projekt vorgestellt im KOLAJ Magazin und im Contemporary Collage Magazin.
After a really long break: This is my starter set for my ongoing collaboration project „The Unequal Twins“ – this time to Doug Schulte
Source material: Insel Bücherei Nr 221 – Hans Holbein – Bilder des Todes.
I started the project in 2018: Two identical books from the Insel Bücherei serve as the basis. These are put together by me and sent to the respective collaboration partner. Both design one of the two books as a starter, both finish the other, so that in the end two original books are created. Each receives their started book back.
So far 42 collage pals have participated – that means: 84 books are finished!
The books have been exhibited several times and the project has been featured in KOLAJ Magazine and Contemporary Collage Magazine.
