Nachdem ich Laurence Gillot – Artpostalliste – meine Streichholz“Schachtel“ gesendet habe, hat sie mir diese Mail Art zurückgeschickt: ein gestempeltes Skelett mit funkelnden Augen in einem handgenähten Umschlag. Das ist eine sehr passende Antwort auf mein Skelett, das ich ihr gesendet habe. Vielen Dank Laurence!
After I send Laurence Gillot – Artpostalliste – my match „box“ she send this piece of mail art in return: a stamped skeleton with sparkling eyes in a hand sees envelope. This is such a fitting response to my skeleton I´ve send her. Vielen Dank, Laurence!
Einfach mal was wagen
Zur Zeit habe ich große Lust, mal etwas anderes auszuprobieren. So habe ich mein Linolschnittherz auf Stoff gedruckt und begonnen, es zu besticken. Ich sticke zum ersten mal und bin bislang – in aller Bescheidenheit – recht zufrieden mit dem Ergebnis. Mal sehen, wie es aussieht, wenn alles fertig ist.
At the moment I really like to try new things – and so I printed my linocut heart onto fabric and started to embroider it. I´m embroidering for the very first time and I have to say – in all modesty – that I´m pretty satisfied with the result so far. We will see how it looks when it´s finished!
Publication: Dada Centennial
Von meinem Partner Josef Schulz habe ich den Katalog „Dada Centennial – Day of the Dead“ geschenkt bekommen – ein Katalog zur gleichnamigen Ausstellung in New Mexico im Museum of Collage, Assemblage and Construction, kuratiert von Cecil Touchon, an der ich mit meiner Arbeit „Hommage to Kurt Schnitter´s Nerzbau“ teilgenommen habe. Ich fühle mich sehr geehrt, dabei zu sein.
I received a wonderful gift from my partner Josef Schulz: The catalog „Dada Centennial – Day of the Dead“ of the exhibition under the same title in New Mexico at the Museum of Collage, Assemblage and Construction, curated by Cecil Touchon where I took part with my work „Homage to Kurt Schwitter´s Merzbau“. I am honored to be included.

Und los geht´s! KART Nr. 79 ist da! Ich freue mich sehr, bei KART Nr. 79 dabei zu sein.
KART ist ein Sammelmagazin in einer Box, in einer jeweils limitierten Auflage von 40 Stück produziert, jede Box enthält Arbeiten von 15 Künstlern. KART ist eine Kooperation zwischen Karingal und Field Study International.
