Rebecca Horn im Lehmbruck Museum Duisburg
Ich war im Lehmbruck Museum und habe mir die Ausstellung von Rebecca Horn angesehen. Sie ist eine meiner favorisierten Künstlerinnen, und diese Ausstellung ist absolut sehenswert (vom Lehmbruck Museum bin ich noch nie enttäuscht worden!)
Sie läuft noch bis zum 2.4.2018.
I visited the exhibition „Rebecca Horn“ at Lehmbruck Museum Duisburg. She is one of my favourite artists – and this exhibition is worth seeing! (I never was disappointed by Lehmbruck Museum´s exhibitions!) The show is running till 2. April 2018

My contribution for Franticham´s Assembling Box
Und das ist mein Beitrag für „Franticham’s Assembling box NR 38“:
Ich habe 40 DinA formatige (21 x 14,8 cm) Collagen gemacht, bei denen ich immer das gleiche Bild eines gestickten roten oder blauen Hauses benutzt habe (die Prints kommen aus Europa), sowie Kopien aus alten chinesischen Comicheften und Sprechblasen aus einem Englischlehrbuch. Der rote Stempel ist mein Name in Chinesisch – er wurde extra angefertigt und ist ein Geschenk, das mir mein Partner zu Beginn des Jahres aus China mitgebracht hat. Unten sind alle 40 Collagen zu sehen.
And this is my contribution for „Franticham’s Assembling box NR 38“:
I made 40 DinA 5 sized (8,3 x 5,8 inches) collages with always the same image of an embroidered red or blue house (the prints are from Europa), copies from vintage Chinese comics and lettering out of an school book for english lessons. The red stamp is my name in Chinese – it was custom-built for me and a souvenir my partner brought me from China at the beginning of the year. Below you can see all 40 collages. This is my contribution to „Franticham’s Assembling box“ – you can see more about this box tomorrow.

New Year – New Project
Frohes Neues Jahr für euch alle! Möge es ein friedliches, glückliches und gesundes 2018 werden – mögen Deine Träume in Erfüllung gehen!
Das ist mein neues Projekt für das neue Jahr: eine alte Rollkartei – mit nur 500 Karteikarten, eigentlich für Adressen und Telefonnummern – aber in meinem Händen jetzt am Start um collagiert zu werden. Yeah!

This is my new project for the new year: an old rotating file device – just 500 cards, actually for addresses and telephone numbers but now, in my hands ready to become glued. Yeah!

I reorganized my desk, cleared the clutter, changed drawer cabinets and chair ASO and now it’s all fresh and clear for 2018 which is hopefully a peaceful, joyful, healthy and creative year for all of us.

Ich habe meinen Arbeitsplatz umorganisiert, Schubladenschränke und Stuhl ausgetauscht, ausgemistet usw – und nun ist alles sauber und frisch für 2018, was hoffentlich ein friedvolles, glückliches, gesundes und kreatives Jahr für alle von uns werden wird.
