Assembling magazine „22“

Susanna Lakner invited me to take part in her magazine “22″:
22 artists created 22 original works (size A5) and send them to Susanna. This resulted in a magazine including 22 original works of each participant with an edition of 22 copies. Each participant received one copy of the magazine.

22 Künstler haben je 22 Originalarbeiten in DinA 5 erstellt und an Susanna geschickt. Daraus entstand ein Magazin mit jeweils 22 Originalarbeiten aller Teilnehmenden in einer Auflage von 22 Stück. Jeder der Teilnehmenden hat ein Exemplar des Magazins erhalten. (Meinen Beitrag kannst Du hier sehen.)

While I was busy with Lynn Skordal´s started artist book for our collaboration No. 40, I send her already a new starter for our No. 41 that she does not get bored in the meantime regarding our collaboration. 😉 Already curious what she will do with it!
Während ich mit Lynn Skordals begonnenem Künstlerbuch für unsere 40. gemeinsame Zusammenarbeit beschäftigt war, habe ich ihr schon einmal einen neuen Starter geschickt für unsere Nr. 41, damit Sie sich in der Zwischenzeit in Bezug auf unsere Zusammenarbeit nicht langweilt. 😉 Ich bin jetzt schon neugierig, was sie damit machen wird.

Diesmal eine besondere Zusammenarbeit: Lynn hat mir ein begonnenes Künstlerbuch während unseres Besuches persönlich überreicht und ich habe es in den letzten Wochen fertiggestellt. Das ist das Ergebnis.

This time a special collaboration: Lynn handed me a started artist book personally during our visit and I finished it during the last weeks. This is the result.

On the occasion of our visit with Lynn Skordal, Josef produced (printing and binding) a book including all the collaborative collages (No. 1 – 38) Lynn and I made during the last 3 years – one starts, the other finishes.
And here you can see No. 39, finshed by Lynn and hand-delivered by herself during our stay.
Anläßlich unseres Besuches bei Lynn Skordal hat Josef ein Buch produziert (geprinted und gebunden), das alle Collagen enthält (von Nr.1 – 38), die Lynn und ich in den letzten drei Jahren zusammen gemacht haben – die eine fängt an, die andere stellt fertig.
Und hier kannst Du Nr. 39 sehen – diese Collage hat Lynn fertiggestellt und mir während unseres Besuches persönlich überreicht.

„Josef and Sabine Come To America“
Collaboration Collage No. 39/2015 by Lynn Skordal and me – 30,4 x 22,8 cm
This collage was hand-delivered by Lynn herself during my stay „on an island in the middle of a lake in the middle of a city in the beautiful Pacific Northwest“. It was such a great experience to meet my collage friend in person after 39 collaborations!
Diese Collage wurde mir von Lynn persönlich überreicht während meines Aufenthaltes „auf einer Insel in der Mitte eines Sees in der Mitte einer Stadt im wunderschönen Nordwest Pazifik“. Es war eine wirklich großartige Erfahrung, meine Collage-Freundin nach 39 Kollaborationen persönlich kennen zu lernen.
