Ich habe 5 botanische Collagen gemacht – eine davon geht nach @the_collage_garden Jakarta, Indonesien zu einer Open Air Ausstellung.
Ich habe bereits mehrmals bei “The Collage Garden” mitgemacht (in Schottland, Holland, zweimal in den USA – New York und Denver, Spanien und Russland – ich mag die Idee sehr gerne.

I made 5 botanical collages – one of them will be send to @the_collage_garden Jakarta, Indonesia to an Open Air exhibition.
I took part in “The Collage Garden” for several times (in Scotland, The Netherlands, two times in  the USA – New York, Denver, Spain and Russia) – I love the idea.

Das ist mein Beitrag zum Mail Art Aufruf des Jheronimus Bosch Art Centers (in Zusammenarbeit mit The Museum of Instant Images / ColoriMii) in ’s-Hertogenbosch, NL zum Thema „Des Künstler Atelier“. Man sollte einen Beitrag einreichen, in dem ein Eindruck von dem eigenen Atelier abgebildet ist – nicht nur ein Foto oder ein Selfie sondern auf die eigene, künstlerische Art und Weise. Ich habe mich entschieden, Materialien zu verwenden, die für meine Arbeit exemplarisch sind: Buchdeckel, alte Fotos und Negative, Ausschnitte aus alten Zeitungen, Buchstaben.
Die eingereichten Arbeiten werden dieses Jahr im Jheronimus Bosch Art Center ausgestellt.
Ich nehme nun zum dritten Mal an einem Mail Art Call von ihnen teil – und ich habe mir die beiden vorherigen Male die Ausstellung angeschaut, die mich jedesmal begeistert haben. Ich freue mich auch dieses Jahr wieder darauf, nach ’s-Hertogenbosch zu reisen und mir die neue Ausstellung anzuschauen.

This is my contribution to the Mail Art call of the Jheronimus Bosch Art Center (in co-operation with The Museum of Instant Images / ColoriMii) in ’s-Hertogenbosch, NL on the theme „The Artist’s Studio“. You should submit an entry that shows an impression of your own studio – not just a photo or a selfie but in your own, artistic way. I decided to use materials that are exemplary of my work: Book covers, old photos and negatives, clippings from old newspapers, letters.

The submitted works will be exhibited this year at the Jheronimus Bosch Art Center.
This is the third time I’m participating in a Mail Art Call from them – and I’ve looked at the exhibition the previous two times, and it has thrilled me each time. I’m looking forward to traveling to ’s-Hertogenbosch again this year to see the new exhibition.

Mein Beitrag zum Aufruf von Maria Chorianopoulou. Die Organisation Cycladia veranstaltet jedes Jahr das dreitägige „Cycladic Light & Earth Festival“ (30. Juli – 1. August), und Maria wird während des Festivals eine Mail Art Ausstellung organisieren.

My contribution to the call from Maria Chorianopoulou. Cycladia organisation holdes the three-day „Cycladic Light & Earth Festival“ every year (July 30th-August 1st), and Maria will organise a mail art exhibition during the festival.

1st International Biennal of Author’s Stamps – Italien

Ich habe meine aktuelle Collage genutzt, um an  der 1. Internationalen Biennale von Autorenbriefmarken, organisiert von Maya Lopez, teilzunehmen, zu der sie mich eingeladen hat. Aus den Einsendungen werden Tafeln mit jeweils 31 Briefmarken erstellt. Ich bin gespannt.
Die einzelnen Werke und die komplette Serie werden für Publikationen, virtuelle und / oder reale Ausstellungen, Wanderausstellungen und kulturelle Veranstaltungen verwendet.

I used my current collage to participate in the 1st International Biennial of Authors‘ Stamps, organized by Maya Lopez, to which she invited me. The entries will be used to create panels of 31 stamps each. I am excited.
The individual works and the complete series will be used for publications, virtual and / or real exhibitions, traveling exhibitions and cultural events.

Ausstellung: Multikulturelles Centrum Templin – Foyer Gallerie

Es freut mich, an der Gruppenausstellung „Collage Assemblage“ im Multikulturellen Centrum Templin teilzunehmen – mit Werken von 38 Künstler von 1967 bis heute.
Eröffnung am 9. Juli, 20 Uhr mit einem Kurkonzert und anschließender Laudatio von Joachim Pohl, Kunstwissenschaftler Berlin. Besten Dank an den Kurator Gerald Narr!
Die Ausstellung läuft vom 9.7. – 30.8. 2021. Das Foyer ist geöffnet immer Donnerstags bis Samstags je  14-18 Uhr.
Von mir zu sehen sind vier anatomische Collagen, sechs kollaborative Künstlerbücher aus der Serie „Die ungleiche Zwillinge“ (wie unten benannt, folgt man dem jeweiligen link kann man sich sowohl die einzelnen Seiten des Buches als auch das Durchblättervideo anschauen), in Dauerschleife die Durchblättervideos der bisherigen Zwillingsbücher sowie zwei Schaufensterfolien mit meinen Nymphen-Collagen.
Ich fühle mich außerordentlich gut vertreten.

I am pleased to participate in the group exhibition „Collage Assemblage“ at the Multikulturellen Centrum Templin – with works by 38 artists from 1967 to the present.
Opening on July 9, 8 pm with a spa concert followed by a laudation by Joachim Pohl, art historian Berlin. Many thanks to the curator Gerald Narr!
The exhibition runs from 9.7. – 30.8. 2021. The foyer is always open Thursdays to Saturdays, 2-6 p.m. each day.
On display from me are four anatomical collages, six collaborative artist books from the series „The Unequal Twins“ (as named below, follow the respective link to view both the individual pages of the book and the flip-through video), in continuous loop the flip-through videos of the previous twin books, and two window slides with my nymph collages.
I feel exceptionally well represented.

Für die Echigo-Tsumari Internationale Mail Art Ausstellung in der Gallery Yuyama, Niigata Präfektur, Japan, die in der Zeit vom 24. Juli bis 31. Oktober stattfindet, habe ich eine Postkarte zum Thema „Frieden“ein beidseitig bearbeitetes Triptychon zum Thema „Ich lebe hier und jetzt“ in der Größe 3 x 25,8 x 19 cm gesendet. Ich freue mich sehr, mit diesen Arbeiten in der Ausstellung vertreten zu sein.

For the Echigo-Tsumari I International Mail Art Exhibition at Gallery Yuyama, Niigata Prefecture, Japan, which will be held in the period from July 24 to October 31, I sent a postcard on the theme of „Peace „a double-sided triptych on the theme of „I live here and now“ in the size of 3 x 25.8 x 19 cm. I am very pleased to be represented with these works in the exhibition.
