Zum nunmehr fünften Mal habe ich für Svenja Wahls Magazine Excavations einen Beitrag erstellt. Wie es funktioniert:
20 Künstler erstellen je 22 Originalarbeiten in max DinA 5 senden diese an Svenja. Daraus entsteht ein Magazin mit jeweils 22 Originalarbeiten aller Teilnehmenden in einer Auflage von 22 Stück. Jeder der Teilnehmenden erhält ein Exemplar des Magazins, Svenja hält 2 als Belegexemplare.

For the fifth time I have created a contribution for Svenja Wahl`s Magazine Excavations. How it works:
20 artists create 22 original works each in max DinA 5 and send them to Svenja. The result is a magazine with 22 original works by each participant in a print run of 22 pieces. Each participant receives one copy of the magazine, Svenja holds 2 as specimen copies.

Ich habe David Dellafiora für sein „Journal Of Field Study International – Field Report 2018“ Assembling Magazin ein Paket geschnürt und geschickt.
I sent David Dellafiora a package for his „Journal Of Field Study International – Field Report 2018“ Assembling Magazine.
„Journal Of Field Study International – Field Report 2018“ ist ein Assembling Magazin von David Dellafiora mit vielen fantastischen Originalarbeiten vieler Künstler aus der ganzen Welt – und ich freue mich sehr, nun zum zweiten Mal dabei zu sein.
Beim ersten Mal habe ich meine Reise nach China zum Thema gemacht. Dieses Mal hat mich mein Museumstrip des Ausstellungsprojektes „Kunst und Kohle“ inspiriert (hier und hier und hier). So habe ich den Beitrag „Schwarzes Gold – Das Ende der deutschen Steinkohleförderung 2018“ kreiert: 100 Originale in DinA5 aus Steinkohlepulver, Acrylbinder, Gold-Kreidefarbe auf schwarzem Tonkarton. Auf der Rückseite befindet sich folgender Text:

Anläßlich der diesjährigen Schließung des letzten Steinkohlebergwerkes und dem damit verbundenen Ende einer über 250 Jahre währenden Industriegeschichte in Deutschland, die insbesondere das Leben im Ruhrgebiet, auch kulturell, entscheidend geprägt hat.

„Journal Of Field Study International – Field Report 2018“ is an assembling magazine running by David Dellafiora with plenty of fantastic original works by so many artists all over the world – and I am very pleased to be one of them for the second time.
The first time, I made my trip to China a theme. This time I was inspired by my museum trip to the exhibition project „Art and Coal“ (here and here and here). So I created the contribution „Black Gold – The end of German coal mining in 2018“: 100 DinA 5 sized originals made of coal powder, acrylic binder, gold chalk paint on black clay cardboard. The following text is on the back:
Black Gold – The end of German coal mining in 2018
On the occasion of this year’s closure of the last coal mine and the associated end of more than 250 years of industrial history in Germany, which has had a decisive influence on life in the Ruhr area, also culturally.
My contribution to KART
Ich freue mich sehr, zum zweiten Mal bei KART mitmachen zu dürfen. KART ist ein non-profit – Mail Art – Sammelmagazin in einer Box, ein fortlaufendes Projekt ohne Endtermin, eine Publikation, um die künstlerische und kulturelle Vielfalt zu fördern. KART wird in einer jeweils limitierten Auflage von 40 Stück produziert, jede Box enthält Arbeiten von 15 Künstlern. KART ist eine Kooperation zwischen Karingal und Field Study International. Excavations Magazine
This is my fourth contribution to the assembling magazine Excavations running by Svenja Wahl: 20 artists create 22 original works and send them to Svenja. This results in a magazine including 20 original works of each participant with an edition of 20 copies. Each participant received one copy of the magazine.
This time I used old boards, vintage postcards and animal head stamps.
Das ist mein vierter Beitrag zum Assembling Magazine Excavations von Svenja Wahl: 20 Künstler kreieren 22 Originalarbeiten in DinA 5 und senden diese an Svenja. Daraus entstehen 22 Magazine mit jeweils 20 Originalarbeiten aller Teilnehmenden. Jeder der Teilnehmenden hat ein Exemplar des Magazins erhalten. Dieses Mal habe ich alte Buchdeckel, alte Postkarten und Tierkopf-Briefmarken genutzt.
