Tricollagen (52 – 54)

„Tricollages“ is an ongoing collaborative project between Josephine, Lynn Skordal and me: One starts, sends the started collage to the other via regular mail who adds something and than pass it to the third in line who finishes. We call them Tricollages.
This time we created Exquisite Corpse for the Mail Art Call „Cinema Dada“ – and the works will be exhibited in Austin – USA in 2018. Wow!

„Tricollagen“ ist ein fortlaufendes  Zusammenarbeit-Projekt zwischen Josephine, Lynn Skordal und mir: Eine startet eine Collage, sendet sie zu der Zweiten, die etwas hinzufügt und an die Dritte sendet, die die Collage fertigstellt. Wir nennen sie Tricollagen.
Dieses Mal haben wir Exquisite Corpse für den Mail Art Call „Cinema Dada“ kreiert und die Arbeiten werden in Austin – USA – 2018 ausgestellt. Wow!

Ich habe ein sehr (über 100 Jahre) altes Fotoalbum  geschenkt bekommen, das ich nun bearbeite. Es macht mir große Freude, die unterschiedlichsten Techniken, die ich über die Jahre ausprobiert habe, nun in einem Buch zu vereinen!

I got a very (more than 100 years) old photo album. It is much fun for me to combine all the different techniques I tried over the years in this book now. Pretty glad to got such a wonderful gift!

Publication: Brooklyn Art Library Magazine

Ich freue mich sehr, in dem neuen Magazin der Brooklyn Art Library veröffentlicht worden zu sein. Es ist ein zweimonatliches Magazin, dass The Sketchbook Project herausgibt – die erste Ausgabe in diesem Herbst. Jede Ausgabe hat eine begleitende Postkarte der jeweiligen veröffentlichen Arbeit. Jedes Buch hat ein bestimmtes Thema mit Abrieten von jeweils 15-20 Künstlern.
Ich freue mich sehr, dass die Magazine nun druckfrisch im Shop der Brooklyn Art Library zu erwerben sind. Hier ist der link zu dem Magazine, in dem meine Arbeit „Wasserfall“ veröffentlicht wurde.
I am very honored to be featured in the new zines at Brooklyn Art Library. It is a new bi-monthly zine series that The Sketchbook Project is launching – first issue this fall. Each issue have a corresponding post card pack. Each book consists of a different theme and about 15-20 artists spreads from the collection.
I am pretty excited to tell you that the zines are hot off the press and in Brooklyn Art Library´s shop. Here’s a link to the zine my work „Waterfall“ is featured in!

Art X Mail – November 2017

I was invited by Frank Voigt to participate again at Art X Mail – Project!
He send me the mail (left), I made my contribution (right side and below) and send it to Kevin Brandtner to fans and sen back to Frank Voigt. and so we created a Collage-Triptych.

Frank Voigt hat mich ernst eingeladen, am Art X Mail Projekt teilzunehmen. Er hat mir seine  Mail Art (links) geschickt, ich habe meine Collage (rechts und unten) ergänzt und an Kevin Brandner gesendet, damit er seinen Teil ergänzen und an Frank Voigt zuschicken kann. So entsteht eine Art Collaboration-Triptychon.
