This is the starter set for my collaborative project „The Unequal Twins“ – this time going to Alison Kurke. Basis material: Insel Bücherei Nr. 480 Rainer Maria Rilke – Der ausgewählten Gedichte anderer Teil.
Thank you very much for your patience – just a year ago we said that we would also make a twin together.

Das ist mein Starterset für mein Kollaborationsprojekt „Die ungleichen Zwillinge“ – dieses mal an Alison Kurke. Ausgangsmaterial: Insel Bücherei Nr. 480 Rainer Maria Rilke – Der ausgewählten Gedichte anderer Teil. Vielen Dank für die Geduld – genau vor einem Jahr haben wir beprochen, dass wir auch einen Zwilling zusammen machen.

Das zweite Buch der Ungleichen Zwillinge mit David Dellafiora ist fertig und somit das Zwillingspaar vollständig.
In einem vorherigen Artikel habe ich den ersten Zwilling gezeigt, von mir gestartet und von David beendet. Hier nun das Buch, das David gestartet und ich fertiggestellt und an ihn zurückgeschickt habe (Video und Fotos am Ende des Artikels Fotos). Vielen Dank für´s Mitmachen, David!

Ausstellung im Frauen Museum Wiesbaden

Dieses Wochenende wird die Ausstellung ELEMENTARTEILCHEN im Frauen Museum Wiesbaden eröffnet, bei der ich auch mit drei Collagen vertreten sein werde. Mein Dank geht an María Elisa Quiaro Maggiorani für die Einladung, daran teilzunehmen und für all die Organisation und Energie, die sie in diese Ausstellung gesteckt hat!

Zum zweiten Mal habe ich beim Mail Art Call des Jheronimus Bosch Art Centers in ´s-Hertogenbosch (NL) teilgenommen und bin dorthin gefahren, um mir die Ausstellung anzusehen. Es ist eine sehr umfangreiche und interessante Ausstellung im Glockenturm einer ehemaligen Kirche, in der sich nun auch das Jheronimus Bosch Museum befindet. Viele Mail Art Freunde sind dort auch vertreten – ich fühle mich in guter Gesellschaft. Ein Katalog zur Ausstellung rundet diesen professionellen Mail Art Call ab. Die Ausstellung läuft noch im September. Leider habe ich nicht herausfinden können bis wann genau.
Hier ist noch einmal mein Beitrag zu sehen.
Aber auch ohne Ausstellung ist ´s-Hertogenbosch eine Reise wert, in der Jheromimus Bosch  geboren wurde und auch verstarb (1450 – 1516). Viele von Boschs Bildern inspirierte Skulpturen schmücken das Stadtbild.

For the second time I took part in the Mail Art Call of the Jheronimus Bosch Art Center in ´s-Hertogenbosch (NL) and went there to see the exhibition. It is a very extensive and interesting exhibition in the bell tower of a former church, which now houses the Jheronimus Bosch Museum. Many Mail Art friends are also represented there – I feel in good company. A catalogue of the exhibition rounds off this professional Mail Art Call. The exhibition runs in September. Unfortunately I could not find out until when exactly.
Here again you can see my entry.
But even without an exhibition ´s-Hertogenbosch is worth a trip, in which Jheromimus Bosch was born and also died (1450 – 1516). Many sculptures inspired by Bosch’s paintings adorn the cityscape.

Das erste von zwei Büchern, die ich im Rahmen meines Kollaborationsprojektes
Die ungleichen Zwillinge dieses Mal mit Carina Granlund bearbeite, ist fertig.
Zwei gleiche Bücher aus der Insel Bücherei, vor dem Altpapiercontainer gerettet, dienen als Grundlage und werden von mir an den jeweiligen Kollaborationspartner verschickt. Beide gestalten eins der beiden Bücher als Starter, beide beenden das jeweils andere, so dass am Ende zwei Originale Bücher entstanden sind. Jeder erhält sein gestartetes Buch zurück.
Das ist das Buch, dass ich für Carina gestartet habe – und sie hat es beendet.
Ich bin schockverliebt! Vielen Dank, Carina!

The first of two books that I’ve altered as part of my collaboration project
The Unequal Twins – this time with Carina Granlund, is finished.
Two identical books from the Island Library, saved from the waste paper container, serve as a basis and will be sent by me to the respective collaboration partner. Both design one of the two books as a starter, both finish the other, so that at the end two original books are created. Everyone gets his started book back.
This is the book I started for Carina – and she finished it.
I am totally in love with it! Thank you so much, Carina!

The monkey head at the end of the book is made by Zoe Punk – I bought it many years ago.
