Wir haben die Hängung für morgen erledigt – und hatten wirklich viel Spaß dabei!!!!
We did the installation for my exhibition and really had much fun!!!!!
Ich habe einige Buttons gemacht (anfertigen lassen) – der große misst etwa 7,5 cm. Ich bin mit den Ergebnissen sehr zufrieden.
I made some buttons with my collages – the big one is almost 3 inches.
Zufällig habe ich für die Buttons ein kommerzielles Display gefunden und bearbeitet. Dabei habe ich die Original-Slogans aufgegriffen und kleine Wortspielereien damit veranstaltet, wie z.B.
„Die unverbindliche Kunst-Empfehlung“ – „Sabine Remys Buttons die Geschichte machen“ – „Kunst zum anstecken“ und „Sie lieben alles außer schlechte Kunst“.
Ich hatte viel Spaß beim Schnibbeln und Kleben.
I altered -a commercial display to present my own badges on Wednesday in occasion of my opening.
I made some wordplay with the original slogans – for example:
„Art to pin on“ or „Badges making history“ and „You love everything beside bad art“
I had much fun to do this!

Die Ausstellung läuft bis zum 29. November und schließt mit einer Finissage ab.

Kurze Randnotiz / Small Side Note
Am 27. August 2012, also heute vor fünf Jahren, habe ich mit meinem Blog begonnen – mit diesem Artikel. In dieser Zeit habe ich 1425 Artikel veröffentlicht und 1465 Kommentare erhalten, viele neue Kontakte geknüpft und interessante Menschen kennengelernt. Das ist eine kleine Randnotiz wert. Vielen Dank liebe Freunde!
PS: Ich beabsichtige, weiterzumachen.
On 27. August 2012, 5 years ago to the day, I started with my blog with this article.

Aljoscha- The Gates of the Sun and the Land of Dreams
Die ganz wunderbare Sonderausstellung „Aljoscha: The Gates of the Sun and the Land of Dreams“ ist noch bis zum 17.9.2017 im Corps de Logis im Schloß Benrath zu sehen – ein bezauberndes, in zartes Rosa eingetauchtes Ambiente .
„Die präsentierten Objekte des Künstlers Aljoscha bestehen aus Acryl, Silikon sowie einem fragilen Gerüst aus Draht. In ihrer scheinbar organischen Struktur und in ihrer amorphen Beschaffenheit täuschen die Plastiken äußerliche Merkmale von in der Natur vorkommenden Organismen vor. Sie erinnern an Mikroorganismen, etwa an die Molekülstrukturen von Pilzen, Bakterien und Algen oder andere Vielzeller. Dennoch sind sie kein Abbild bzw. keine Interpretation der natürlichen Realität, sondern stellen in ihrer ästhetischen Form noch nicht existierende Lebewesen dar. Die Vorstellung von der Erschaffung zukünftiger Lebensformen und die Visionen aktueller biologischer Forschungen der Synthetischen Biologie vereinen sich in Aljoschas Kunstpraxis, die er als Bioism oder auch Biofuturism bezeichnet.“ (Quelle)

The wonderful exhibition „Aljoscha: The Gates of the Sun and the Land of Dreams“ is running till 17.9.2017 at Corps de Logis – Schloß Benrath – an enchanting delicate pink ambience.
„The objects by artist Aljoscha presented at the Corps e Logis are generally made of acrylic, silicon and a fragile wire framework. With their seemingly organic structure and their amorphous consistency, the statues feign the outer features of natural microorganism. They are reminiscent of the molecular structures of uni-cellular organism such as bacteria, algae and fungi. Still, hey are neither a copy nor an interpretation of natural reality, but they present life forms that do not exist yet in an artistic way. The idea of the ceratiob of future life forms and the visions of current biological research of the so-called synthetic biology are combined on Aljoscha´s art which he calls bioism or biofuturism.“ (Quelle)
