Rolodex
After a long while I continued working on my Rolodex.
Here you can see the starting point. I didn’t pursue the original idea of making a collage diary out of it any further, but for me it’s ok – that’s the process and it’s developing somehow – that’s also nice.
Nach einer wirklich langen Zeit habe ich an meinem Rolodex weitergearbeitet.
Hier kannst Du den Anfang sehen. Die ursprüngliche Idee, daraus ein Collage-Tagebuch zu machen habe ich inzwischen aus den Augen verloren, aber für mich ist das ok – so ist alles im Prozeß und entwickelt sich irgendwie weiter – das ist ja auch schön.

Die ungleichen Zwillinge
mit Stefan Heuer (1/2)
Das erste von zwei Büchern, die ich im Rahmen meines Kollaborationsprojektes
Die ungleichen Zwillinge dieses Mal mit Stefan Heuer bearbeite, ist fertig.
Zwei gleiche Bücher aus der Insel Bücherei, vor dem Altpapiercontainer gerettet, dienen als Grundlage und werden von mir an den jeweiligen Kollaborationspartner verschickt. Beide gestalten eins der beiden Bücher als Starter, beide beenden das jeweils andere, so dass am Ende zwei Originale Bücher entstanden sind. Jeder erhält sein gestartetes Buch zurück.
Das ist das Buch, dass ich für Stefan gestartet habe – und er hat es beendet.

The first of two books that I’ve altered as part of my collaboration project
The Unequal Twins – this time with Stefan Heuer , is finished.
Two identical books from the Island Library, saved from the waste paper container, serve as a basis and will be sent by me to the respective collaboration partner. Both design one of the two books as a starter, both finish the other, so that at the end two original books are created. Everyone gets his started book back.
This is the book I started for Stefan – and he finished it.

aus den 1950ger und 60ger Jahren
Neulich auf dem Flohmarkt habe ich einen unglaublichen Fund gemacht:
Zwei Ordner voll mit Kino-Programmheften aus den 1950ger und 60ger Jahren. Ein kostbarer Schatz. Die Programmhefte sind auch innen spektakulär gestaltet und es macht Spaß, sie durchzublättern. Manche Filme kenne ich sogar! Mal sehen, ob und wenn ja was ich damit mache. Fast zu schade zum Zerschneiden.
Recently at the flea market I made an incredible find:
Two folders full of cinema programs from the 1950s and 60s. A precious treasure. The program books are also spectacularly designed inside and it’s fun to leaf through them. Some movies I even know! Let’s see if and what I do with them. Almost too wonderful to cut them up.

Collaborative travelling book (3)
Another collaborative book project by Geronimo Finn called „Add and Pass“ where I took part in for the third time. Each participant creates one double page and send the book to another one. At the end Geronimo gets it back. I don´t know how much books like this he spread all over the world – but there are MANY on tour.
Kollaboratives Buchprojekt von Geronimo Finn mit dem Titel „Add and Pass“, an dem ich nun zum dritten Mal teilgenommen habe. Jeder Teilnehmer erstellt eine Doppelseite und sendet das Buch dann an jemand anderen. Am Ende bekommt Geronimo es zurück. Ich weiß nicht, wie viele Bücher wie dieses Geronimo auf der ganzen Welt verbreitet hat – aber es sind VIELE auf Tour.
