Hände und Arme Woche auf miriskum (Teil 4 – 2 Hände):
Tilly Losch (1903 – 1975) war eine österreichische Tänzerin, Schauspielerin, Choreographin und Malerin. Ende der 1920ger Jahre entwickelte sie eine Choeographie in der der Tanz ihrer Hände im Mittelpunkt stand.
Eine Photoausstellung ist derzeit in Wien bei bonartes zu sehen: „Tanz der Hände; Tilly Losch und Hedy Pfundmayr in Fotografien (1920 – 1935)“

Hands and arms week on miriskum (Part 4 – 2 hands):
Tilly Losch (1903 – 1975) was an Austrian-born dancer, choreographer, actress and painter. End of the 1920th she made a choreography with the focus on her hands.
A foto exhibition „Hand Dance – Tilly Losch and Hedy Pfundmayr in fotographes (1920 – 1935)“ is shown at bonartes in Wien, Austria.

Ich bade in Armen und Händen – hier ist bereits nur noch ein Teil von den in den letzten Tagen ausgeschnibbelten Extremitäten zu sehen. Was daraus geworden ist/ wird und was mich diesbezüglich inspiriert wird in der nächsten Zeit hier zu sehen sein.
Und schon mal ein Hinweis auf einen Collage-Blog von Susanne Breuss, der sich nur Händen widment: Collhands.

I´m diving in arms and hands – here you can just see a part of all the limbs I cut during the last days. What I have done and will do with them and what inspires me in regard to this theme I will show during the next time.

Hannah Hoech – Whitechapel Gallery – London

In der Whitechapel Gallery London werden bis zum 23. März Collagen von Hannah Hoech ausgestellt. Daniel F. Herrmann (Eisler Kurator und Head of Curatorial Studies) gibt eine interessante Einfürhung in ihre Arbeit. Was für eine Schande, dass ich mir die Ausstellung nicht ansehen kann! Aber vielleicht bist Du ja gerade in der Nähe?!

Till the 23thrd of March the Whitechapel Gallery London is exibiting Hannah Hoech´s collages. Here you can see an interesting introduction by Daniel F. Herrmann (Eisler Curator and Head of Curatorial Studies) in regard to her work. Such a shame that I shall not be able to visit this exhibition! But maybe you are just around the corner?!
