Meine langjährigste Freundin schenkte mir die beiden Quelle Kataloge von 1960 und 1961. Und Tim Blankenstein hat mir auch ein sehr schönes Geschenk gemacht: Den Atlas der Anatomie des Menschen von Sobotta mit wunderbaren Abbildungen! Lang lebe die Anatomie!

And I got another awesome gift from Tim Blankenstein: Sobotta- Atlas of human anatomy. The anatomical drawings are fantastic!

Das wunderbare Wetter am Wochenende habe ich für einen Ausflug in die Eifel genutzt. Trier (mit Dom St. Petrus, Kaiserthermen, Kurfürstlichen Palais, Konstantin-Basilika, Alter Markt, Porta Nigra) – Bernkastel-Kues (mit Besuch einer historischen Bonbonmanufaktur Bonbon Willi. Leider keine Fotos aber eins der Highlights, zu sehen, wie  Zuckerbäcker-Meister Willi Maas wie vor 100 Jahren Bonbons und Lutscher mit Walzen und per Hand  produziert.) – Kurbad Bad Bentrich – Cochem (Bundesbank Bunker – ein besonderer Artikel folgt – wirklich super interessant) – Monschau (Besichtigung der historischen Senfmühle Breuer). Das war wirklich wunderschön!

I used the wonderful weather to do a weekend´s trip to the Eifel to visit Trier (Cathedral St. Petrus, Electoral Palace, Emperor´s  Thermae, Konstantin-Basilica, Old Market, Porta Nigra) – Bernkastel-Kues (including a visit of an historical candy manufacture Bonbon Willi: No fotos – what a pity – although it was one of the highlights to see how sugar baker master Willi Maas is producing candies like 100 years ago with rollers and by hand.) – health spa Bad Bentrich – Cochem (German Central Bank Bunker – a separate article will follow – really very interesting) – Monschau (visit of an historical mustard mill). It was really all very beautiful!
