I found this interesting video on Vimeo by Noor-un-nisa Touchon about Cecil Touchon (Visual Artist, Director of Fluxmuseum and Ontological Museum), who says about himself:
„I am a paper person. Some people love wood or fabric or metal or clay, etc. I love paper and the ink or paint or pencil on it and the patina of use and the feel of the surface and the notations, scribbles, stains and repairs found on it. I am fascinated by the evidence of use and the mysterious nature of its history as a unique voice, a witness to the lives of those people now lost to history who used to own it. As a person interested in paper this would also lead to all things related to paper like a fascination with libraries and archives, documents, postage and correspondence, books, posters, language, organization, files and systems and the architecture and infrastructure built for things related to paper. However, I am a visual artist, so I am also interested in studios and galleries, museums, collectors and collections, art objects, ideas, color, composition and form. Combining all of these things together you have the practice of collage which then grows into a process for creating studies for larger scales paintings. Collage Tagebuch
A while ago I found an old Rolodex in the net and bought it without knowing, what I am going to creat with it. In the meanwhile I got the idea: It is my collage diary. Each time I finished a collage / project I make a little note and add it. It is nice to see the growing collection on my desk.
Vor einiger Zeit habe ich im Netz ein altes Rolodex gefunden und gekauft, ohne genau zu wissen, was ich damit machen möchte. In der Zwischenzeit habe ich die Idee entwickelt: Es ist nun mein Collage-Tagebuch. Jedesmal wenn ich eine Collage / ein Projekt beendet habe, mache ich mir eine kleine Notiz und füge sie ins Rolodex ein. Es ist sehr schön diese stetig wachsende Sammlung die ganze Zeit auf meinem Schreibtisch stehen zu sehen.

Er stößt gruppendynamische Prozesse an, motiviert Menschen zu ritualen Handlungen, konfrontiert aber auch den Einzelnen mit seinen Emotionen, Reflexen und Instinkten. „The title of the exhibition, FORCE, sets the tone for Christian Falsnaes’ interactive works that examine notions of force, power, energy, and violence. Falsnaes explores the existing power dynamics between artist and public. He interrogates and precipitates group dynamics, entangles participants in ritual acts, but also confronts the individual with his or her own emotions, reflexes, and instincts.
