Skulpturenpark Waldfrieden der Tony Cragg Foundation zeigt derzeit (neben der ständigen Freiluft-Ausstellung) die Sonderausstellung „Vorsichtshalber Vorsichtig“ – Installationen von Peter Pabst (anläßlich der Jubiläumsspielzeit PINA40 – 40 Jahre Pina Bausch Tanztheater) – nur noch morgen!

März 2014 die Ausstellung „Papier/Paper IV – COLLAGEN“ zu sehen mit Werken von Kirstin Arndt, Frank Badur, Erwin Bechtold, Max Cole, Tibor Gáyor, Bettina Khano, Schirin Kretschmann, Matthew Northridge, Karim Noureldin, Martin Pfeifle, Günter Tuzina und Albert Weis.
Absolut empfehelnswert!

Ein Ausflug zum Drachenfels – ein Berg im Siebengebirge am Rhein bei Königswinter.
A day trip to Dragon’s Rock – a hill in the Siebengebirge on the Rhine by Königswinter.
Unter dem Titel „Nancy Graves Project & Special Guests“ zeigt das Ludwig Forum Aachen noch bis zum 16.2.2014 eine Retrospektive der Künstlerin mit Skulpturen, Installationen, Zeichnungen, Gemälden und Filmen. Werke anderer Künstler („Special Guests“), die Graves beinflusst haben/ hätten beeinflussen können, erweitern die Ausstellung.
Sehr viel Spaß hat mir das Kombinatorium gemacht, hier kann jeder Museumsbesucher aus Text- und Bildkarten und sehr interessanten Objekten ein eigenes Schaubild erstellen und in einer Vitrine ausstellen. Alle Schaubilder werden nach und nach online gezeigt unter Kombinatorium.de.
Ludwig Forum Aachen is showing „Nancy Graves Project & Special Guests“ till the 16th of February 2014. A retrospective of works by Graves (sculptures, installations, paintings, drawings, films) and a selection of works by „special guests“ – artists that Graves (would) have influenced.
I had my fun with the Kombinatorium – a place where every visitor can create his own collage out of text- and image-cards and interesting objects. They are shown in show cases in the museum and online on Kombinatorium.de.

Im Kunstmuseum Ahlen findet noch bis zum 26. Januar 2014 die Ausstellung „Ruhestörung – Streifzüge durch die Welten der Collage“ statt. Der 2. Teil der Ausstellung befindet sich in MARTa Herford. Neben Papiercollagen sind auch viele Assemblagen ausgestellt.

Tara Donovan ist eine amerikanische, in New York lebende Künstlerin, die für ihre biomorphen Skulpturen unscheinbare Alltagsgegenstände nutzt, wie z.B. Nadeln, Trinkhalme, Knöpfe. Im Arp Museum Bahnhof Rolandseck bei Bonn sind ihre Arbeiten noch bis zum 9. März 2014 zu sehen. Absolut sehenswert! Auch wenn´s nur auf Englisch ist: das kurze Video unten nicht verpassen!
Tara Donovan is an American artist, based in New York. For her biomorphic sculptures she is using everyday materials, for example needles, drinking straws, buttons. In Arp Museum Bahnhof Rolandseck near Bonn you can visit the exhibition with her works till the

Im Kultur Bahnhof Eller – Düsseldorf ist noch bis zum 8.12.2013 die Ausstellung „Verlassene Ort – Dokumentarische Fotografien“ zu sehen. Zehn FotografInnen zeigen Arbeiten zum Thema. Am besten haben mir die Fotografien von Anna Fleischmann und Roman Küffner sowei von Jonathan Andrew gefallen.
