Friedrichrodaer Hefte

Nachdem ich bei Svenja Wahls  Excavations Magazine mitgemacht habe, habe ich Post vom Verlach (!) Friedrichrodaer Hefte von Peter Müller erhalten.  Die handgefertigten Friedrichrodaer Hefte erscheinen seit 1987 in unregelmäßiger Folge und behandeln alle Bereiche der Kunst. Abonnent wird man nur durch Auswahl oder auf Empfehlung – insofern fühle ich mich doppelt geehrt! Vielen Dank, Peter! Diese Edition hat den Titel „A Thirsty Monk´s Pilgrimage Book“ – und ist einfach wunderbar!!!

After taking part in Svenja Wahl´s  Excavations Magazine I received a mail from Verlach Friedrichrodaer Hefte from Peter Müller. Since 1987, the handmade books are published at irregular intervals and deal with numerous questions around art. You can become a subsriber only by selecting or recommendation – insofar I feel honored twice! Thank you very much, Peter! This edition´s title called „A Thirsty Monk´s Pilgrimage Book“ – and is just marvellous!!!

Spanish Flu Mail Art Biennale 2014

Susanna Lakner hat mich eingeladen, mit einer Collage und einer „Feldpost“ zum Thema „Kriege und andere Viren“ an der 5. Spanische Grippe Mail Art Biennale 2014 teilzunehmen. Die Ausstellung wird am 27. Februar 2014 in Miskolc/Ungarn eröffnet. Alle Beiträge sind im mailartbiennale-Blog zu sehen. I was invited by Susanna Lakner to take part in the 5th Spanish Flu Mail Art Biennale 2014 with one collage and one object. Theme: „Wars an other viruses“. Mail Art: Visual Poetry

Collage 2013 – 29,7 x 21 cm

My third mail-art-entry this week: Visula Poetry. It´s from the 3rd International Mail Art Event at MAC Museum in Canada de Gómez, Argentina. All entries will be permanently exhibited in the Museo de Arte Canadense.
I have choosen the phonetic poem by Kurt Schwitters: „What a b what a b what a beauty“, 1944. Here you can listen to it!!!

Collage 2013 – 20,5 x 14 cm

This is my second piece of mail art this week. It goes to the South Store Cafe in Hillsboro, USA, where it will be exhibited in January 2014. You can read more of the mail art call here.
Thema: Organe is a difficult color (I do not think so).

Mein zweiter Mail-Art-Beitrag in dieser Woche geht an das South Store Cafe in Hillsboro, USA, wo im Januar eine Ausstellung stattfindet. Meht über den Mail-Art-Aufruf kann man hier lesen.
Thema: Orange ist eine schwierige Farbe (was ich ja gar nicht finde).
