Ich freue mich, mit meiner Collage „Homage to Kurt Schnitters´ MERZ-Bau“ dabei zu sein: Heute ist Ausstellungseröffnung von The International Museum of Collage, Assemblage and Construction (collagemuseum.com) with the International Society of Assemblage and Collage Artists (collagist.org)  in Santa Fe, New Mexico, USA anläßlich des 100. Geburtstag von DADA. Es ist eine internationale Ausstellung, vom 4.11.2016 bis einschließlich Januar 2017. Die Arbeiten werden auch online gezeigt auf dem Blog unter “Dada Centennial”. Ein Ausstellungskatalog ist geplant.

I´m glad to take part with my collage „Homage to Kurt Schwitter´ MERZ-Bau“: Today is opening of the exhibition of The International Museum of Collage, Assemblage and Construction (collagemuseum.com) with the International Society of Assemblage and Collage Artists (collagist.org)  in Santa Fe, New Mexico, USA to celebrate the 100 year Anniversary of DADA!  It´s an international exhibition – beginning with the opening today,  November 4, 2016 and continue through January 2017. The works will be on permanent exhibit online on the inventory blog under “Dada Centennial”. A catalog is in the works as well.

“Bouquets” ist mein neues Buchprojekt: In ein altes Buch aus dem Antiquariat habe ich 17 handgeschnittene Papiercollagen zum Thema “Blumenstrauß” montiert.  Jeder Strauss beinhaltet gebundene Blumen, Vögel, zwei Schlangen, ein Insekt und viele Schmetterlinge.
Das Buch ist 30 x 40 cm groß.

“Bouquets” is my new book project: I altered an old book from the second hand bookshop and mounted 17 hand cut collages themed “Bouquet”. Each bouquet includes a bunch of arranged flowers, birds, two snakes, one insect and many butterflies. The size of the book is 15,7 x 11,8 inches.

Ich bin sehr glücklich, dass ich einen Sponsor gefunden habe, wodurch es mir nun möglich ist, jedem Teilnehmer eine hochwertige Druckversion des gesamten Memo-Spiels zu senden – mit einer Übersicht, wer welches Paar gemacht hat. Ich hoffe, alle haben soviel Freude daran wie ich. Nun ist das Memo Spiel auf der Welt verteilt – und kann gespielt werden. Hier sind die SPIELREGELN:
1. Mische alle Karten
2. Lege sie mit dem Gesicht nach unten in Reihen aus.
3. Drehe immer zwei Karten um.
4. Wenn zwei Karten zusammen gehören, behalte sie.
5. Wenn sie nicht passen, lege sie wieder mit dem Gesicht nach unten zurück.
6. Erinnere Dich, wo welche Karte liegt.
7. Beobachte und erinnere, welche Karten die Mitspieler umgedreht haben.
8. Das Spiel ist vorbei, wenn alle Karten zueinander gefunden wurden.
9. Der Spieler mit den meisten Paaren hat gewonnen.

I´m very lucky to have found a sponsor what allows me to send participant a high quality print version of the whole deck – as well as an overwiew of who did which one. I hope they enjoy the compilation as much as I do! Now it is spread world wide and can be played.
Here are THE RULES FOR  PLAYING (http://www.eduplace.com/ss/act/rules.html)
1. Mix up the cards.
2. Lay them in rows, face down.
3.  Turn over any two cards.
4. If the two cards match, keep them.
5. If they don´t match, turn them back over.
6. Remember what was on each card and where it was.
7. Watch and remember during the other player´s turn.
8. The game is over when all the cards have been matched.
9. The player with the most matches wins.
