Es ist schon eine ganze Weile her, dass ich diese Mail Art erhalten habe – aber wie gesagt: zur Zeit bin ich ein miserabler Mail Art Freund und man muss viel Geduld mit mir haben.

European Tour Project

Laurence Gillot hat mich eigeladen, an ihrem „European Tour Project“ teilzunehmen – ein kollaboratives Kunstprojekt. Die Teilnehmer bearbeiteten alte Souvenir-Foto-Sets, sendeten sie an Laurence zurück, die dann ein neues Set aus einer Auswahl verschiedener Teilnehmer zusammenstellte und an jeden zurücksendete. Das sind die 12 Fotos, die ich bearbeitet habe.
Hier ist mein Set, mit Beiträgen von Francis van Rossem, TicTac Patrizia, Veronique Delage, Mariana Serban, Serse Luigetti, Stefan Heuer, Petra Lorenz, Pamela Gerard, Sam …?, Antonella Prota Giurleo, Ben Marchesini und Laurence Gillot!

Laurence Gillot-Artpostaliste invited me to participate in her „European Tour Project“ – a collaborative art project.
Participants edited old souvenir photo sets, sent them back to Laurence, who then compiled a new set from a selection of different participants and sent it back to everyone.
These se are the 12 photos I edited.
Here is my set, with contributions from Francis Van Rossem, Tictac Patrizia, Véronique Delage, Serban Mariana, Serse Luigetti, Stefan Heuer, Petra Lorenz, Pamela Gerard, Sam …?, Antonella Prota Giurleo, Ben Marchesini and Laurence Gillot-Artpostaliste!

Collaboration with Lynn Skordal (No 122)

Ich freue mich sehr, dass Lynn Skordal und ich seit 2013 kontinuierlich zusammenarbeiten und mal in kürzeren, mal in längeren Abständen uns Starter und fertiggestellte Kollaborationen per Post hin und er schicken. Hier nun ist Kollaboration Nr. 122 DREAM GIRL – von mir gestartet, von Lynn beendet. Den Buchrücken habe ich in einem öffentlichen Büchertauschregal während meines Italienurlaubs im Mai diesen Jahres gefunden – so ist er von Italien, nach Deutschland, in die USA und zurück nach Italien gereist. Ein wirklich abenteuerliches Leben für einen Buchdeckel!

I am very happy that Lynn Skordal and I have been working together continuously since 2013 and sometimes in shorter, sometimes in longer intervals send us starters and completed collaborations by mail back and forth. Here now is collaboration #122 DREAM GIRL – started by me, finished by Lynn. I found the spine of the book on a public book swap shelf during my vacation in Italy this May – so it has traveled from Italy, to Germany, to the US, and back to Italy. A truly adventurous life for a book cover!
