Verlassene Orte im Kultur Bahnhof Eller

Im Kultur Bahnhof Eller – Düsseldorf ist noch bis zum 8.12.2013 die Ausstellung „Verlassene Ort – Dokumentarische Fotografien“ zu sehen. Zehn FotografInnen zeigen Arbeiten zum Thema. Am besten haben mir die Fotografien von Anna Fleischmann und Roman Küffner sowei von Jonathan Andrew gefallen.

Interesting exhibition in Culture Railway Station Eller – Düsseldorf, till the 8th of December called „Deserted Places – Documentary photographies“. My favourites: Anna Fleischmann and Roman Küffner and Jonathan Andrew.

Matena-Tunnel

Der Matena-Tunnel in Duisburg ist für mich einer der gruseligsten Auto- und Fußgänger-Tunnel! Wie ich erfahren habe ist er zwischenzeitlich geschlossen und diente einst als Drehort für Schimanski. (Dank Dir für die Infos, T.!) Das erinnert mich daran, dass es Schimanski-Stadtführungen in Duisburg gibt, an denen ich schon lange teilnehmen wollte….
PS: Das Foto habe ich übrigens tagsüber im Sommer gemacht!

The Matena-Tunnel (for cars and pedestrians) in Duisburg is one of the creepiest! I´ve heard that it´s closed in the meanwhile and it was a film spot of  „Schimanski“ (a famous detective from a popular German crime series called „Tatort“) That reminds me of the guided city tour about Schimanski I wanted to do since a long time …
