Ein faszinierendes Video über die Arbeit von Aurora Robson, eine Künstlerin, die mit weggeworfenem Plastik arbeitet und daraus wunderschöne Skulpturen und Installationen schafft.
A fascinating video about the work by Aurora Robson, an artist who is working with trashed plastic, creating wonderful sculptures and installations.
Passend dazu habe ich kürzlich die erschütternde Doku „Trahsed – Weggeworfen“ gesehen – sehr empfehlenswert!
Meine Internetrecherche zum Thema „Plastik vermeiden“ hat mich zu diesen beiden Seiten geführt: Frau Schubert – besser leben ohne Plastik und Leben ohne Plastik.
Perfekter Soundtrack zum Thema: Jan Delays Lied „Plastik„.
The shocking and recommendable documentation „Trahsed“ fits perfectly to this theme.

Now I will try to abstain from plastic wherever I can – but I already know: This will be hard!

Diesmal: Skulpturenmuseum Glaskasten Marl: „Die angehaltene Zeit – Video und Sound“
Das Museum ist eines der wenigen, in denen man keinen Eintritt zahlen muss – Kunst für alle! Das Konzept finde ich sehr gut!
In der Ausstellung hat mir am besten gefallen:
– „Before the Rain“ von Yang Yongliang – ein Video wie eine animierte Collage
– die 8stündige Videoinstallation „Mute 2“ von Zhang Peili – eine Zusammenstellung von Überwachungskameras einer Textilfabrik in Kombination mit einem Näherinnen-Arbeitsplatz
– und sein Video „Happiness“ – eine Kombination aus Ausschnitten aus früheren offiziellen chinesischen Filmen und einem ständig applaudierendem Publikum
– „Still Live 1-7“ von Wang Gongxin – sieben „Stillleben“ in denen doch ein wenig Bewegung ist
– das verstörende 12 minütige „Endzeit“-Video „Low Tempe“ von Yi Lian
– und natürlich die chinesischen Glückskekse!

This time: Skulpturenmuseum Glaskasten Marl: „Arrested Time – Video and Sound“
This museum is one of the few where you do not have to pay entrance fee – art for all – I enjoy that concept!
I liked at the best
– „Before the Rain“ by Yang Yongliang – a video like an animated collage
– the eigth-hour videoinstallation „Mute 2“ by Zhang Peili – a compilation of observation cameras from a textile factory in combination with a sewer´s workplace
– his video „Happiness“ – a combination of parts of early official Chinese films and a constantly applauding audience
– „Still Live 1-7“ by Wang Gongxin – seven „still lifes“ with a littel motion yet
– the unsettling 12 minutes „end time“-video „Low Tempe“ by Yi Lian
– and certainly the Chinese fortune cookies!

Als zweites war ich im Osthaus Museum Hagen: „Paradigmen der Kunst – Installation und Objekte“
Die Käfige von Kum Chi Keung haben mir gut gefallen. „Grandmother´s House“ von Dong Yuan hat mich fasziniert, weil alle einzelnen Elemente auf Leinwand gemalt und zu einer Installation zusammengefügt waren.

First I have been to Osthaus Museum Hagen: „Paradigms of Art – Installation and Object Art“
I really enjoyed the cages by Kum Chi Keung. And I was intrigued by „Grandmother´s House“ by Dong Yuan because he painted every piece of this installtion on canvas and assembled it to an installation.
