FEBRULLAGE ist eine Initiative von Edinburgh Collage Collective und Scandinavian Collage Museum. Diese Initiative lädt Collage-Künstler dazu ein, im Februar zu dem jeweiligen Tagesthema (Liste siehe unten) eine Collage zu erstellen. Jedem ist es überlassen, wie oft er daran teilnimmt. Wer mitmacht ist gebeten, die Collage auf Instagram zu posten und mit dem #februllage zu versehen. Einige der geposteten Collagen werden auf der Februllage Seite gezeigt.
Dies ist mein erster Beitrag in diesem Jahr an Tag 5 zum Thema FENSTER.

Also – wie gesagt – ich kann es mit den Nymphen nicht lassen – in diesen dunklen Zeiten brauche ich Positives um mich herum.
Vor etwa zwei Jahren habe ich aus China mehrere Poster mit den sogenannten „Shanghai Beauties“ geschenkt bekommen. Die Motive stammen aus den 1930ger Jahren und zeigen neben den Beauties auch damals berühmte Schauspielerinnen. Lange habe ich mich nicht getraut, diesen kostbaren Schatz anzurühren … jetzt aber schon.

About two years ago I received several posters with the so-called „Shanghai Beauties“ as a gift from China. The motifs are from the 1930s and show besides the Beauties also famous actresses at that time. For a long time I did not dare to touch this precious treasure … but now I do.

Carnet Vert
Herzlichen Dank an R.F. Côté (CAN), dass ich bei seinem Add & Pass Buch „Carnet Vert“ teilnehmen darf. Ich mag die Idee sehr, dass ausschließlich Briefmarken verwendet werden dürfen, und finde das von ihm selbst gebundene Starterbuch ganz wunderbar. Bislang sind Beiträge von ihm, Elaine Fafard Marconi und mir enthalten. Nun ist es auf dem Weg zu Susanna Lakner.
Many thanks to R.F. Côté(CAN) for letting me participate in his Add & Pass book „Carnet Vert“. I really like the idea of using only stamps and think the starter book he bound himself is quite wonderful. So far it includes contributions from him, Elaine Fafard Marconi and me. Now it is on its way to Susanna Lakner.
Neo Exquisite Corpse
Alison Kurke, James Herbst und ich haben insgesamt neun Exquisite Corpse gemacht. Hier sind drei von ihnen, angefangen von James, Alison hat weitergemacht und ich habe sie fertiggestellt. Jeder von uns hat einen anderen Teil der Collage gemacht – oben, in der Mitte, unten.
Alison Kurke, James Herbst and I did a total of nine Exquisite Corpse. Here are three of them, starting with James, Alison continued, and I finished. Each of us did a different part of the collage – top, middle, bottom.
