Josephine und ich haben 2013 und 2014 einige Collagen zusammen gemacht – und dann eine lange Pause. Jetzt hatte Josephine eine großartige Idee: Letzten Sommer hat sie einige alte Moeder-Magazine aus den Fünfziger- und frühen Sechzigerjahren gekauft und davon 12 Titelbilder für eine neue Zusammenarbeit ausgesucht (siehe unten: alle Original Titelblätter zusammen). Jede von uns hat daraus je 6 Starter gemacht und an die andere per Post geschickt, die sie dann fertigstellen sollte. Zum Schluß haben wir zusammen 12 neue Titelbilder produziert. Darum haben wir es „Das Moeder Titelblatt Projekt“ genannt. Heute starte ich mit Titelbild Nummer 1 – was die 10. Collab von Josephine und mir ist.
Moeder heißt ürbigens Mutter – was erklärt, warum auf fast jedem Cover Kinder zu sehen sind.

Josephine and I made some collaborations in 2013 and 2014  – and afterwards a long pause. Now Josephine had a great idea: Last summer she bought some old Moeder magazines from the fifties and early sixties and picked 12 front covers of them for a new collab (see above all original front covers together). Each of us made 6 starters out of them and send them to the other one to finish. At least we made 12 new covers – so we call it „The Moeder Front Cover Project“. Today I start with cover number one – which is the 10th collaboration by Josephine and me.
By the way – Moeder means mother – this explains, why kids are on nearly each of them.

Polly Morgan, eine britische Künstlerin, kreiert mit präparierten Tieren faszinierende neue Welten. Sehr inspirierend! Ihre Arbeiten erinnern mich an die von Thomas Grünfeld.
Dieses Video habe ich übrigens vor einiger Zeit auf Barbara Böttchers wunderbarem Blog entdeckt.

Polly Morgan, a british artist, creates new fascinating worlds out of stuffed animals. Very inspiring! Her works remind me on the art of Thomas Grünfeld.

„Has not sung the nightgale there?“
„Didn´t the nightingale sing?“
„Hasn´t the nightingale been singing?“
… ??? …
