Dieses Video und die Musik habe ich zufällig auf youtube entdeckt.
Die Musik ist von Quantic, von dem 2001 veröffentlichen Album „The 5th Exotic“ auf dem  „True Thoughts“ lable. (unbezahlte Werbung)
Die Musik passt so gut zu dem Video – und dieses Video hat es mir besonders angetan! In einem Kommentar war Folgendes zu lesen:
„Dieser Film wurde am 14. April 1906 gedreht, nur vier Tage vor dem Erdbeben und dem Feuer in San Francisco, bei dem das Negativ fast verloren ging. Es wurde von den „Bewegtbildfotografen“ der Brüder Miles produziert: Harry, Herbert, Earle und Joe. Harry J. Miles verkürzte die Bell & Howell-Kamera, die während der Dreharbeiten auf der Market Street vom 8. Mai vor den Miles Studios zum Ferry-Gebäude auf der Vorderseite einer Straßenbahn platziert wurde. Einige Tage später waren die Brüder Miles auf dem Weg nach New York, als sie von dem Erdbeben erfuhren. Sie schickten das Negativ nach New York und kehrten nach San Francisco zurück, um zu erfahren, dass ihre Studios zerstört wurden.“ (Quelle – Kommentar von R.R.Rubin)
Wenn man sich überlegt, dass alle Menschen, die auf diesem Video zu sehen sind, schon lange verstorben sind … Sehr berührend!

I discovered this video and the music by chance on youtube.
The music is from Quantic, from the 2001 released album „The 5th Exotic“ on the „True Thoughts“ lable. (unpaid advertising)
The music goes so well with the video – and the video is what I really like! In a commentary I read the following:
„This film was shot on April 14, 1906, just four days before the San Francisco earthquake and fire, to which the negative was nearly lost. It was produced by moving picture photographers the Miles brothers: Harry, Herbert, Earle and Joe. Harry J. Miles hand-cranked the Bell & Howell camera which was placed on the front of a streetcar during filming on Market Street from 8th, in front of the Miles Studios, to the Ferry building. A few days later the Miles brothers were en route to New York when they heard news of the earthquake. They sent the negative to NY, and returned to San Francisco to discover that their studios were destroyed.“ (Source – comment by R.R.Rubin)
If you consider that all the people who can be seen on this video have been dead for a long time … Very touching!

Eine großartige Entdeckung – diese Videos von UNIVERSAL EVERYTHING – „Ein digitales Kunst- und Designstudio, das neue Formen des bewegten Bildes für die Bildschirme der Zukunft erfindet“.
„Das südkoreanische Luxuskaufhaus The Hyundai lud Universal Everything ein, eine Reihe von Videokunstwerken für eine 30 Meter hohe LED-Videowand zu realisieren, die seine Fassade in Seoul bedeckt. Der Großverbraucher ist eine Antwort auf die Luxuskonsumgüter, die im Kaufhaus angeboten werden. Universal Everything kreierte eine Reihe von extremen digitalen Pop-Art-Verstärkungen dieser Produkte, die sie als eine vielfältige, animierte Parade von Charakteren zum Leben erweckten – von metallischen Kugelschreiberjacken über aufwändigen Schmuck, gastronomische Kreationen bis hin zu kühnen Blumenarrangements.

„The South Korean luxury department store The Hyundai invited Universal Everything to direct a series of video artworks for a 30-metre-high LED video wall covering its facade in Seoul. Superconsumers is a response to the luxury consumer products on sale within the department store. Universal Everything created a series of extreme digital-pop-art amplifications of these products, bringing them to life as a diverse, animated parade of characters – from metallic puffer jackets to elaborate jewellery, gastronomical creations to bold floral arrangements.
