Das zweite Buch der Ungleichen Zwillinge mit Svenja Wahl ist fertig und somit das Zwillingspaar vollständig.
Titel: Eine Oper über das Leben, die Liebe und den Tod.
In einem vorherigen Artikel habe ich den ersten Zwilling gezeigt, von mir gestartet und von Svenja beendet. Hier nun das Buch, das Svenja gestartet und ich fertiggestellt und an sie zurückgeschickt habe (Video und Fotos am Ende des Artikels Fotos). Vielen Dank für´s Mitmachen, Svenja!

Allan Bealy und ich haben das erste Buchzwillingspaar vollendet.
Zwei gleiche Bücher – in diesem Fall „Die schönsten Legenden des heiligen Franz“ – Nr. 70 der Insel Bücherei als Ausgangsmaterial. Jeder von uns hat ein Buch gestartet und der andere hat es beendet.
Hier nun sind beide Videos zu sehen von den fertigen Zwillingsbüchern – sowie Fotos von dem zweiten Zwillingsbuch. Das erste habe ich im vorherigen Artikel bereits gezeigt.
Ich muss sagen: Mein Projekt macht mir Spaß!

Allan Bealy and I have completed the first pair of twin books.
Two identical books – in this case „Die schönsten Legenden des heiligen Franz“ – No. 70 of the Island Library as source material. Each of us started a book and the other finished it.
Now here are both videos of the finished twin books – as well as photos of the second twin book. I already showed the first one in the previous article.
I have to say: I enjoy my project!

Die ungleichen Zwillinge – Die ersten Paare
Ein fortlaufendes Kollaborationsprojekt
Zwei gleiche Bücher aus der Insel Bücherei dienen als Grundlage.
Diese werden von mir zusammengestellt und an den jeweiligen Kollaborationspartner verschickt. Beide gestalten eins der beiden Bücher als Starter, beide beenden das jeweils andere, so dass am Ende zwei Originale Bücher entstanden sind. Jeder erhält sein gestartetes Buch zurück.
Das sind die ersten Zwillingspaare, die auf ihrem Weg sind zu Allan Bealy, Axelle Kieffer und Frank Voigt, an Vizma Bruns, Zach Collins und Dawn Nelson Wardrope, an Laurence Gillot, Peter Dowker und Waldemar Strempler und an TicTac Patrizia. Das allererste Zwillingspaar habe ich an Geronimo Finn gesendet – ich kann es selber nicht glauben, aber ich habe kein Foto davon gemacht!
Nun bin ich gespannt, was alle aus den gestarteten Büchern machen und wie sie jeweils ihr Originalbuch für mich starten werden. Ich werde berichten.


The Unequal Twins –  The first pairs
An ongoing collaboration project
Two identical books from the Island Library serve as a basis.
These are compiled by me and sent to the respective collaboration partner. Both design one of the two books as a starter, both finish the other, so that at the end two original books are created. Everyone gets their started book back.
These are the first pairs of twins books I send out to Allan Bealy, Axelle Kieffer and Frank Voigt, to Vizma Bruns, Zach Collins and Dawn Nelson Wardrope, to Laurence Gillot, Peter Dowker and Waldemar Strempler and to TicTac Patrizia. The very first one I send to Geronimo Finn, I can’t believe  but I missed to take a photo.
Now I am curious what all will do with the started books and how they will start their original book for me. I will report.

Ein neus Buch ist da – ich brauchte etwas wirklich positives und farbenprächtiges und so habe ich das „Tulpen Wunder“ kreiert. Dazu habe ich zwei ähnliche Blumenbücher miteinander kombiniert indem ich zunächst alle Seiten herausgeschnitten, 15 davon collagiert und dann wieder in einer neuen Art und Weise zusammengefügt habe. Nun kann man es entfalten und hat am Ende ein Tableau.
Unten kannst Du das Entfalten im Video sehen und am Ende des Artikels alle einzelnen Collagen in voller Größe.

A new book is born – I really needed something positive and colourful – and so I made this „Wonder of Tulips“. I combined two similar flower books, cut out each page, collaged 15 of them and merged them together in a new way. Now you can unfold it and see a tableau.
