Gestern, am Welt-Nettigkeitstag (werd denkt sich denn eigentlich sowas aus?!), wurde mir eine große Freude bereitet. Mein Lieblingsantiquar Christoph Schäfer vom Heinrich Heine Antiquariat, schenkte mir neben einem großen Berg an Auktionskatalogen als Schnibbelmaterialfundus auch noch diese zwei wunderbaren Bücher über Hannah Höch. Einen Ausstellungskatalog „The Photomontage of Hannah Höch“ von 1997 vom Walker Art Center, Minneapolis mit vielen wunderbaren Abbildungen ihrer Collagen UND die Biografie „Schrankenlose Freiheit für Hannah Höch“ von Cara Schweitzer, erschienen im Osburg Verlag 2014. Wie toll ist das denn!? Ich fühle mich unverhofft und reich beschenkt und kann nur sagen HERZLICHEN DANK! Die Überraschung ist geglückt.

Yesterday, on World Kindness Day (who on earth would think of something like that?), I was given a great pleasure. My favourite antiquarian Christoph Schäfer from Heinrich Heine Antiquariat, gave me not only a large pile of auction catalogues as a material fund to cut up, but also these two wonderful books about Hannah Höch. An exhibition catalogue „The Photomontage of Hannah Höch“ from 1997 by Walker Art Center, Minneapolis with many wonderful illustrations of her collages AND the biography „Schrankenlose Freiheit für Hannah Höch“ by Cara Schweitzer, published by Osburg Verlag 2014.
